I was so excited to hear that we had succesfully created and approved a drug that 100% protects women from cervical cancer.
Since this cancer is caused by a virus transmitted through sex, the new vaccine will most likely be given to young girls, around age 9, to protect them before they even have sex. It will become just as normal as getting a MMR vaccination.

But then I was horrified to hear that religious conservatives are already outraged by this new drug. They say they will teach their daughters to have "good morals" and they won't be having sex before marriage.

Well, what are you going to do when you realize you can't completely control your child's every action? And what about when she gets married? I heard a rumor that some married couples have sex.

I don't believe anyone can be motivated to do anything if there isn't something in it for them. Even the most religious people act in a manner that may appear selfless but in reality do things so that they can be rewarded by their God. Maybe I am biased, but,
do you think you could ever be motivated to do something and get nothing out of it?

God punished the nazi Germany for what they did to the Jews and it’s himself who will punish the Jews for what they do to the poor Palestinians?
If the Jews read their bible they will know that God punished them the first time because they became arrogant and they killed the prophets and he will punish them again for not being grateful for the gift of God who gave them power after they were weak and they abused by killing innocent people and sealing their lands.

As I looked over the skyline of a local university, I asked myself why this country still cannot solve problems that are war specific. Then, I thought about the Mt. Soledad issue in San Diego. Apparently, local Christians are rallying against the Christian cross on Mt. which is to be removed because the cross is on public land and in violation of constitutional law involving seperation of church and state. One group suggested that the top verticle part of the cross be removed making the cross and T for tolerance. What an uproar followed that suggestion! A state of WAR now exists!

Do your subjective feelings help you most in your thinking processes?

It seems the atheists at this section are almost entirely objective and the 'believers' are more subjective. I identify myself as equally objective and subjective (mind and heart -- logic and feelings), so I'm just wondering how others see themselves?

A Priest and a Baptist Minister were on the road near my home pounding a sign in the ground that said: The end is Near..turn yourself around before it's too late...a car flew by and they yelled out: Leave us alone you religious nuts!

Then they heard a horrible crash...and the Priest said to the Baptist Minister...Shouldn't we have just said "Bridge is Out!

Why doth thou not here the ancient writings before Christ before the Bible, why doth thou deny me my greatness? I am amongst you though none of you believe TRULY. Why are all so indoctrinated with rubbish. Do you think I care if I am worshiped? I am truth I am the creator of this world and all. Yet for you it is the Christian GOD of hate whom did this. I love all my children though I do not understand your contempt for me. Tell me children why dost thou hold such contempt. Is it the same contempt from a teenage son to his father or a growing girl to her mother. I see it in all humans how the children rebel. Why have you all come to a collective on this?

If I said that all religions held some key to truth yet all are leaning toward feud could you observe this in each religion? Are some of you at that capacity. It matter not that I enjoy my brown skin, I have lived as every hew of man. Nothing changes for you are all with me.

I grew up as a catholic ,but 14 years ago I actually opened my bible and read it on exodus 20 the 10 "commandments"
and the 4th command says to keep the sabath holy, so wich day is it?
