I'm not sure how I'm discriminating. I asked a question. I also used another persons question.

Christians are NOT the only ones who discriminate against others. Most organised religions talk 'smiting the infidel'. They all believe that their's is the one true way.

Well, yeah, but the Christians on that question are fighting back, saying that Muslims are the ones who will be going to hell. Of course Christians aren't the only group of people in the world that discriminate (not that all Christian are like this), but the majority of them are extremely intolerant of anyone who disagrees with their views, which is a damn good reason as to why so many people look down on Christians.

You know your right. Yes, actually everyone discriminates. if you read all of it, you would have seen that not only did the muslims discriminate but some non-muslims (most likely Christians and Jews) also said some pretty mean stuff...so we are all the same. whats the point of asking? and who said Christians are the only ones who discriminate? i never heard that...

I'll be honest, Jesus Christ was the most narrow-minded man you'll ever meet but faith, true faith, requires belief in something you haven't seen and that takes commitment and a willingness to admit that you don't have all the answers (but you do have a willingness to pray to the One that does).

Oh, and before you get all upset about the "narrow-minded" comment read this:

Matthew 7:14 (NIV)
But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

John 14:6 (NIV)
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Who says Christians are the only ones who discriminate? There are better reasons than that to pick on Christians.

Everyone discriminates. It's human nature to profile people and give sanction to one's own belief as the best. Because for someone to actually believe in something, she has to think highest of that opinion as compared to anything else. Otherwise, it would lead to a loss of belief.

Also, aren't you discriminating by by scorning people who discriminate?....just a thought

I don't think that Christians are the only ones who discriminates. Everyone does. Just some are more open to admit it to others.

Sigh...only the ignorant think that only one group in the world discriminates. Everyone does it to some extent or another, it's just christians tend to be so much better at it.

Stop using your racist beliefs to defend a certain point of view... plain ignorance... As a Muslim, allow me to explain:

Each of those verses were taken out of context. Each verse in quran was revealed during a certain time. In order to understand the verse, you must understand why it was revealed and what the history was during that time...

Secondly, Muslims do not believe that all Jews and Christians are going to hell. Christians and Jews are people of the book. Their fate lies with God... Muslims arent guaranteed salavation, unlike Christians... So yes, while some Christians, Jews and Muslims will go to Heaven, there are those who will go to Hell as well... it all depends on one's deeds and believing the core priniciple in Islam that There is Only One God, He has no children, no one is equal to Him...

all religions discriminate and that's why we can't get along on a spiritual level we could all learn a lot if we took the time to learn about other religions with an open mind.
