Jews didn't kill Christ, Romans did, check the latest version of your bible.
It's envy that made other people persecute Jews because the latter are clannish in a way and tend to be hand-in-hand.
Additionally, wherever you see large population of Jews rest assured that the hosting country is prosper, if you look at the USA as an example, you'd see Jews lingering in upper levels of the executive branch, think tanks, influential lobbies, editors, media moguls, bankers, scientists etc. Do you think that they're suffering after all, or it's just that you like seeing them as such?

I do not know what people have against Jews. I have seem many similar questions and I am beginning to believe that some Christians really need to learn the basics of their religion. Read the Bible!!!! "No one takes my life from me, but I lay it down of my own accord and take it back of my own accord" (Give or take a few errors dues to paraphrasing). After reading that, if you think that God is punishing the Jews for the Crucifixion, then you are really weird!!!

The Jews ARE God's chosen people. God chose them as his people. He says so in the Bible. They have suffered like we all do. They have had a lot of suffering but God will be glorified through the Jewish people. Christ came to THEM first as was foretold in the Bible... "they received him not..." They made a choice, just like anyone else has to. Before each of us die we will have to decide... Is Jesus who he says he is? And that decision will determine where you spend eternity. We are all guilty of Christ's death. Not just the Jews. He died so we could live. There is a price for our sins and it can only be paid through the shedding of blood. But to reconcile us with a Holy God, the blood had to be perfect, without blemish. No human has that kind of blood. So God chose to step out of eternity into the time and space he created, as God the Son, and die a cruel death on a cross. Why? So you and I could chose to believe he is who he said he is and that he paid that price we couldn't, and thus we can spend eternity with him. Not all that complicated.

do you punish your children? I hope so, God punished the Jews (in the OT) for unfaithfulness, the covenant was changed when Jesus came and died for our sins. Now everyone that accepts Him becomes part of His chosen people, Jew are hated for many reasons (not justifiable, but they are hated) and that it why they are persecuted, its the same all over the world, one people group doesn't like another and they try to kill them and so on

It is inaccurate and unfair to call any Jews "evil doing.christ killers." The Jewish people were very carefully prepared for centuries with the Mosaic laws of sacrifice of to help Jesus Christ bring about the Atonement. They were given two sets of prophecies from prophets. One set described the Messiah as a powerful, spiritual being who would reign over the earth and establish His covenant people in that kingdom. The other set of prophecies said that the Jews would kill the Son of God. When you have a spiritual dichotomy like that, you are in a tough place. Remember that it was only a small group of Jews who tried and betrayed Jesus into the hands of the Romans with accusations of treason. Remember also that Jesus Christ as the Son of God went through all that He did because He loved all of God's children enough to take on the spiritual price of all the world's sins, and He gave up His own life on the cross in order to be the first to pass through the Resurrection process (Lazarus was raised from the dead, but he was still mortal). Because of what Jesus Christ did for us, we can all repent and return to the presence of God. We also receive the gift of immortality as a free gift. We should be grateful for the Jews for being as faithful as they were - everything went exactly on schedule. The reason they have suffered so much in history is because Satan, or the devil, knew exactly what the role of the Jews was, and he and his followers have continually stirred up people around them to try to stop them from fulfilling their role. Remember the plagues in Egypt? The last plague was that the first-born son in every household would die if that household did not have lamb's blood smeared across the door lintel/posts. That was a direct reference to the Son of God's blood. It was terribly important for the Jews to leave Egypt to be able to develop how God wanted them to develop, in order to be ready in the right place (not Egypt) for the ancestors of Jesus Christ to live and grow, and in order for the Atonement to take place in the way it did. Satan and his followers took out their revenge on the Jews throughout history by making people have a faulty understanding of the Atonement of Jesus Christ so that they were critical of the Jews instead of feeling grateful for how carefully they kept records - which were included as the Bible. Remember, the doctrine of Christ is love and not contention, and the Jewish people still have an amazing role to play in the history of the world up to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, or the first coming of the Messiah to them.

the jews have been punished for disobeying and not believing. What inspires us to improve and repent is the knowledge that the bible promises that when we are ready to return, god will be there ready to accept us. So we pray often, follow the commandments and try to be good.

A: Jews are " NOT " God's chosen people. They made up that fairytale to fool the Christian idiots.
B: Jews are persecuted due entirely to their behavior. Anti-Semitism is a disease. You catch it from Jews.

They are being punished because they have turned away from God. He desperately wants them to turn from their ways and come back to Him. I think maybe he's trying to make them miserable enough to call out to Him for help.
