When religions talk about GOD, most of the time they talk about GOD as if GOD was a person/Man or a dominant being. How do we really know that Jesus Christ was an actual person when there is no proof of his "physical" existence? Who put the Bible Codes in the Bible? Aliens or some other physical presence, besides GOD and Man?
Ask yourself why you believe in something that could be a lie. GOD could be no believable as the GREEK MYTHOLOGIES. Proof? What proof? Those proofs are "all" written by man who think GOD spoke or told them to write it down on paper. Why does religions teach people to "FOLLOW" instead of lead your own lives with GOD teachings?

Did he not have the sins of the people put on him?

This was Passover. The lots were cast to determine which would be the sacrificial lamb without blemish and which would be the scapegoat who had the sins of the people put on him and which was then driven out to the town dump.

In the original Hebrew of the Torah, the Christian Old Testament’s references to Gehenna are mostly replaced by a different Hebrew word, sheol.

Sheol is not an explicitly religious term. In ancient Judea, when a city garbage dump grew too large, the authorities would burn it. The resulting fiery mess was called a sheol. In ancient Judean literature, a sheol, a mountain of fire, was used as a poetic metaphor for earthly death.

Gehenna, or Ge-Hinnom, was the name of ancient Jerusalem’s municipal landfill.

Here's the example. I work sometimes at gourmet chocolate store that is right across the street from the Focus on The Family headquarters and a block away from New Life Church in Colorado Springs.

About once a month the store has a day of outrageous sales, far exceeding Valentine's Day, Easter, or Christmas (days many many people buy chocolate). The store is swamped by people who were told at a seminar or service that if they bought chocolate and brought it back to share they will be blessed or get into heaven for that action. These people proudly prefess in the store that is why they are buying the chocolate and consciously will even spend more money than the person in front of them.

The simple fact that this occurs with such regularity and such capacity make me wonder how many people are made gullible by their religion. Or, are these people gullible to start out with?

Are we related to God? If so, does that mean that we have the potential to become like him, similar to the potential that a child has to become a parent himself some day?

like prepare for the next life and haunt places or people from past lives, or go and do things pertaining to this life. It could be where dreams come from.

by the bye, if you aren't capable of conceptualizing this, then please don't answer the question. Yours is not the answer for which I am looking. This is a new idea for me and I don't know if anyone out there thinks similarly, but I'm hoping to find an answer which can at least discuss the possibility, whether you believe it or not. If the question makes your head hurt, then please move on to the next question without comment.
