Well listen, in the bible it says...
Romans 6:12
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
Matthew 5:27-28
" You have heard that it was said to those of old, `You shall not commit adultery.' 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
Corinthians 6:15-20
Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make [them] members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16 Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body [with] [her]? For "the two," He says, "shall become one flesh." 17 But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit [with] [Him]. 18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit [who] [is] in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
Well anyhow...If you can Masturbate without lusting, then good for you, but There is no way you can.
And ur not honoring ur body for God.
And yes, thinking that Masturbation is normal, is also a sin.
Sex is within marriage.

I'm going to tell you like this. Yall might laugh at this but its the truth. I had problems in my life. Needed Jesus more than anything. Had a bad year. I got saved. I still sinned, masterbate agean. The next day, I got really sick.I have been sick with the flu for a week. THAT WAS THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!! Haven't masterbate since.NEVER AGAIN!!! They say masterbation is a gateway for bad things.I believe it. I was masterbating since I was a child. I repented to God.He forgave me. Again, I'm not doing it anymore. I didnt think I was ever going to stop masterbating. Masterbation is caused by the spirit of lust. I never though I can last this long without sex and masterbating, but I did!!!!! IT CAN BE DONE. IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.

The ancient Hebrews believed that sperm was what generated new life, and wasting that potential was an affront to God/Yaweh/Jehovah. Hence the prohibitions against masterbation, and male homosexuality. I don't believe the Bible addresses lesbianism (no sperm being wasted), but I may be wrong.
And I'm now vizualizing that bit in Monty Python's "Meaning of Life"--every sperm is sacred..lol

It doesn't. It does say not to commit idolatry or adultery (fornication). If God gives a personal Word to make wife pregnant and one disobeys and spills on ground, it's a sin.
Added later: If a any one looks at porno (Or someone other than spouse or future spouse.) & masterbates, One is commiting adultery of the heart against spouse or future spouse. If any one looks at an idol & masterbates, One is commiting adolatry of the heart.

It doesn't. The misinterpreted passage had to do with a man who had a duty to marry the widow of his brother to produce children. He didn't like the idea so spilled his seed on the ground. This was abhorrent because the kabbalists believe in reincarnation and the brother needed descendants because it (reincarnation) goes down through family lines in the Hebrew tradition.

I think it's neither wrong nor right, but it's not healthy. And it's not needed when you are focusing on trusting God to meet your intimacy needs; when you trust in masturbation, you're not trusting God.
I have no need for that and I just keep busy in life.

Onan in the Bible has marital relations with his wife and then proceeds to "spill his seed" upon the ground because he does not want to conceive children. God struck him dead on the spot. I'd say that's a pretty good indication that it's wrong. ;)

Onan was shirking his duty to impregnate. That has nothing to do with masturbation, which is not mentioned in the Bible. Lust is wrong however, so if your masturbation includes lustful fantasies that is a different issue.
