God created all of us. We are literally His children. He created our spirits, and gave us the power to create physical bodies for his children.

Humans were made in God's image according to his likeness and... let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every moving animal that is moving upon the earth. Then it goes on to say God's purpose for Humans He wanted them to be fruitful and become many, and fill the earth and subdue it and take care of the animals. This was Adam and Eve's responsibility to extend the borders of the Garden of Eden... God wanted the whole earth to become a paradise with humans ruling under him of course. This is all explained in Genesis 1:26-28 you should read it for yourself and see.

Being in relationship with God, everyone is at a different level with Him. It takes prayer and reading God's Word to get in a close relationship with God. Think about it, it would be just like meeting someone, You are wanting to know the person, so what do you do? You begin to call the person, dating. Well that is the way it is with God. He wants you to get to know him and the only way to know him is thru prayer and worship. And when you worship Him, you are just telling him how much you love, adore him, appreciate him. Tell him that He is wonderful, beautifeul, marvelous, That you give him all the honor and Glory. That what God wants to hear that he is number one in your life. It is a must that you know him through reading God's Word.

We have several relationships with Him.
First, we are his property. He made us (and everything else); He has the absolute right to do as He pleases with us. If He treats us as other than property, that is solely due to His kindness.
Second, we are rebels, undeserving of His kindness. Adam disobeyed God and swore allegiance to satan forever in the garden of Eden. Adam sold himself and all his descendants into slavery forever. The children of slaves are slaves themelves; they have no rights at all. However distressing this was to God, it was a bona fide transaction made between two free agents, and God could not violate his own sense of justice by simply stepping in and voiding the arrangement. Since that time, each of us has upheld the contract, by sinning personally in various ways.
Third, God desires to treat us as adopted sons. This is not a status that people enjoy automatically! This is done through God's unique and only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ. When satan had Christ assassinated on the cross, satan overstepped his authority, in that he killed a Man Who was not descended of Adam and therefore not satan's property. God judged satan guilty of murder and all his property reverted to the state, that is, to God. In this way, we were redeemed.
So, fourth, God regards us as redeemed hostages or prisoners. However, not everybody wishes to take advantage of the grace God offers us. Although God's work in redeeming us is in theory sufficient for everybody, not everybody wishes to be adopted into God's family as a son.
God is so much more competent than we are, our relationship to Him in wanting to be like Him seems along the lines of a child watching his father operate some complicated piece of equipment. He thinks he knows how because he has watched his father do it so often. Indeed, we may lean too closely and be told to stay out of the way of the rotating machinery.
But Jesus did say that those who believed in Him would do even greater things that He Himself had done, someday. Some have expressed that God wishes to take down the sign on the family buisiness that reads "God and Son", and replace it with one that says "God and Sons".
Just as a man may have several roles toward his family (father, parent, husband, lover, provider, layer-down of laws) God has many relationships toward us.
For those who continue to rebel, or, let us say, for those who do not wish to be rescued, God will be Lawgiver and Judge. That will be necessary and automatic.

Your relationship to God is like your relationship with everything else. If you need it....feed it... it will grow.
If you want to be a God, become one, you can (there have been numerous throughout recorded history and more still lost and forgotten).
Be careful what you wish for!

We are only related to God if we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour
1Jo 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

We are made in his image. We are to serve Him, to love Him and to teach others about Him. Not the same physical concept of parent and child.

GOD CREATED the Earth, Star-System and Mankind--------Mankind sinned, changed God's, and every-thing got messed-up including Mankind's RELATIONSHIP to GOD.
When you ask JESUS to come into your HEART and SAVE you, that RELATIONSHIP is restored.
