They always refer to God as Him. Do you really think it's some focused, conscious being? And what is it that makes this being masculine? I would imagine most people don't think he has a penis or testosterone in his blood. And I'm not trying to suggest "He" is some sort of actual man, either.

Evangelical leaders insist they know how gay marriage affects their voters -- they'll stay home if politicians don't push for the Federal Marriage Amendment (FMA). Last month, James Dobson, the influential founder of Focus on the Family, met privately with key Republicans, including Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, House Speaker Dennis Hastert and Majority Leader John Boehner, to warn them about the political consequences of failing to promote issues like marriage. "If you forget us, we'll forget you," he said, according to a GOP House leadership aide. "It's the one issue I have seen that eclipses even the abortion issue among Southern Baptists," says Richard Land, president of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention.

If the bible is god's sign to mortal man, why did she wait so long to deliver it and why didn't she make it grow on the tree of knowledge instead of an apple so we wouldn't have had to wait for the printing press and then there would also be no discrepencies in the different versions?

Anyone can look it up on the internet and the general consensus among science is that that oldest scripture from the Old Testament was written down around 980 BC. I realize that it tells of stories that happened earlier than then. But this is the oldest documented version we have. There are plenty of other ancient writings that are older than that and tell of some of the same stories and creation.

The Exodus supposedly happened around 1300 BC so how could it have been written by Moses when it even tells of his death.

Before you start telling that I am wrong or quoting bible verses, back it up with the name of an Anthropologist, the date he claims and website.

Think about this for a second.

Many cultures and countries are upset with each other. Some people even protest what others do. Europeans have had protests against Bush, but never with "Death to America".

However, EVERY protest in EVERY Islamic country always has the slogan "Death to America", and its never anything in between. Follow the distinction?

Islamic protests are very uniform, its DEATH or nothing. If they are not screaming for death, they are not protesting and visa versa.

Consider the cartoonist protests. DEATH! Uniform call for DEATH around the Islamic world. Indonesia or Arabia, Asian or Arab, made no difference, as long as they were Muslim, they were screaming for DEATH.

If you havent studied Islam in any depth, please dont bother giving ignorant pc cliches in response. Learn about Islam first. Its not enough that you know a Muslim somewhere and he hastn tried to kill you.

The issue is, what Muslims really say to each other and believe in the mainstream of THEIR culture. If you have already started to suspect that Muslim culture may be extremely intolerant, beyond "just a few", go to Yahoo Islam chat rooms and listen to how muslims speak, amongst themselves, about "kafirs".

Also, you can go to the website http://www.memritv.org/ and watch translated Islamic tv footage and see what they really believe.

Its easy to slap a simplistic label on me, and call me a "hater" or "racist". In one respect, I am glad many Americans are quick to dismiss anything that might smell of bigotry. I wish my analysis wasnt true, however, it is, and i promise you will find this as well, with a little research.

I have recently seen on TV this group of ex-strippers that go into strip clubs and buy lap dances. While the dancer is doing her thing the ex-stripper preaches to her about Jesus. Does something seem wrong in this to any one else? Not only is the dancer forced to listen to this but she also has to dance. I would think it is humiliating to be put into that situation.
