If you havent studied Islam in any depth, please dont bother giving ignorant pc cliches in response. Learn about Islam first. Its not enough that you know a Muslim somewhere and he hastn tried to kill you.

The issue is, what Muslims really say to each other and believe in the mainstream of THEIR culture. If you have already started to suspect that Muslim culture may be extremely intolerant, beyond "just a few", go to Yahoo Islam chat rooms and listen to how muslims speak, amongst themselves, about "kafirs".

Also, you can go to the website http://www.memritv.org/ and watch translated Islamic tv footage and see what they really believe.

Its easy to slap a simplistic label on me, and call me a "hater" or "racist". In one respect, I am glad many Americans are quick to dismiss anything that might smell of bigotry. I wish my analysis wasnt true, however, it is, and i promise you will find this as well, with a little research.

Why must everyone keep insisting that a stereotype is how everyone is?

You've saddened me. I'm a Muslim, and it makes me sad to see how many people insist that we're 'intolerant' or whatever. The thing is, you don't judge someone by how other people act. If I looked at some random people and then decicded that everyone else is like them too I wouldn't be being very fair. In fact- the people putting us down are actually intolerant. Intolerant of us. Why can't we all just accept people as they are? There are some people in this world who are different than you. You have to accept it. And when you go around spouting questions, please think about who you might be offending. What you are saying is that Muslims are extremely intolerant. Don't make judgements about a whole culture unless you actually know a lot of Muslim people. If you don't, then don't make judgements based on your studies. We are like you people. Everyone is different, with different personalities. PLEASE, please don't judge a book by it's cover. I am crying as I write this...

Sam Harris says that the ramifications are extreme, in his book
The End of Faith: Religion, Terror, and the Future of Reason. My dad was Muslim. I found a lot of violence in what I have read in the Qu'ran, but I know many peaceful Muslims.(?!) The Government of Iran certainly made those ramifications a basis of existence as "The Islamic Republic".

I've studied Islam. I compared other religions and even cults. I just realized that the Koran or Quran didn't make sense. I don't believe and understand a prophet who would have 23 wives and some or one of them a child? The quran isn't the original copy. I chosed Christianity because of a personal experience and a awesome manifestation of God's presence.

I think that it is quite obvious what the ramifications are. The history of islam is one of continuous warfare, invasion, subjugation and genocide. They are in the process of doing that once again.

When Islam is weak, it tries to be nice and fit in. When they feel strong, they go to war and jihad is the goal.

The short term solution is simple...crush them utterly and totally with military might and expel them from our countries en masse. That will demonstrate quite effectively that they are weak and will cause them to stop what they are doing.

The long term solution is more complex. The knowledge about what Islam is all about must become widespread. More, it must become the object of ridicule and shame. Once everyone knows that Islam is evil and shameful, most people will abandon it.

Islam is a torture chamber built upon a foundation of sand. That sand is washing away.

Well, it seems as though your definition of Kafir and the Islamic definition of Kafir differ. Too bad you didn't study Islam a little more... Maybe these can help enlighten you, or at least someone looking for knowledge:

I think that they are afraid that Christians will try to convert them. As Christians we are to let others know about Jesus. If Muslims know the truth about Jesus they may change their mind about Islam.

Also, I think they are afraid of the so called kafir, because they look at him as a sinner. A sinner who will corrupt them to do bad things.

I think that is the same thing as not getting to know Muslims, because many think they are terrorists. However, them not getting to know the so called kafir is the same thing.

The ramifications are about the same as Jews being elitists. Nothing.
