What is right? and what is wrong in society?
Does a large number of people wanting to do something make it right? If i was born to want to do certain deviant things, if enough people feel the same way, does that make it "right"?

I have my own flat moving in soon.
I have college and a part time job but I'm dreading coming home to quietness. I'm used to living in the halls of residence so there were always people around.

okay so i had a friend say to me today "you know that guys are better than girls at everything." and i was like excuse me?! but of course, in this spur of the moment comment he made, i could not think of anything besides cheerleading to prove that there are a ton of things that girls are better at then guys.

so here's what i need...anything you can think of that girl are better at then guys?? it can be ANYTHING at all and the more creative, the better

thanks =]

They look like fools running around snapping stupid photos of people walking, talking, laying in the sun, whatever. Seems so rude, why is it still allowed?

I was watching the news last night, and saw that in several places, people had been asked by the police to take down their fake corpse hanging by a noose.

What are your thoughts on this?

Is a noose an offensive halloween decoration? Why do you feel that way?

Is it infringing on people's rights to ask them to take a decoration down?

Do you think a noose is a symbol of racism, despite the fact that hangings were practiced long before America even existed?

Are we becoming TOO sensitive in this country, or do you think its necessary?

*Note: the fake bodies that were hung in peoples' yards were NOT black.

I'm a student at a top 15 law school, and I smoke that *hit every day! Anyone who says it'll turn you into some loser/burnout is full of crap. Half the people at this law school are just like me. Some use harder drugs. Anyone agree with me? If not, you're probably just some Poindexter who has NEVER tried it!

I was called into the office this morning by my boss. I was accused of doing something really bad. It was something that if I had done it, then I would have recieved a formal warning. O.K. so I did not do it. It really hurt because I have been working hard and putting in a lot of extra hours. But what hurt more was the fact that my boss even thought that I would do it. Although she has given me the bennefit of the doubt, I feel bad?

No TV, no radio, no newspapers, no billboards, no internet, no posters, no celebrities, no hysterical news reports, no angle-driven, persuasive dramas, no media and everything it brings.

What do you think it would be like? Better or worse?

Plumpy Nut is a great food for small malnourished children in Africa. What will older children eat once they have lived long enough to consume "adult" food. I think saving the children is a valiant effort, but are we really looking at the whole picture here? Are the world's resources (especially Africa's) great enough to sustain a larger adult population? I am not ready to say yes. I think this increase in adult population in Africa (and other parts of the world) will obviously put a greater strain on the world's resources and lead to even more child malnourishment and death. Thus the proverbial viscious cycle rears its cliche ugly head. Your thoughts please.
