My highschool was going to put on the musical "Jesus Christ Super Star" but it got cancelled because of complaints from some parents. We are a public school, there are so many different religons and I think that this musical is a story of Jesus's life put to music (i don't see how that is offenseive). If the people had a problem with it then they don't have to have anything to do with it. It seems to me that they are trying to force their religon on us by calling it blasphemy and taking it away.

Ever noticed it's always part-time workers that go over the minimum wage are the ones managers want to get rid off?
They do this because they want to save money, by getting rid of that person and hiring a new person because the beginning wage is the cheapest.
Also, whenever there's extra hours because someone called in sick, and/or can't come in and/or too much work and not enough to time complete it, they get the part time worker who makes the least amount money to work the extra hours?
The managers do that because they want to save money, otherwise if employees earnings of the week go beyond the budget the head office had given out, then it comes out of the manager's own expense.

Walking October

I guess i've pulled the trigger now
I went in far too deep
I crossed the line in agaony
Through skin my blood will seep
These shadows shift on walls and floor
You're dressed in black and gray
I've lost myself inside your eyes
Forgetten what to say
Clinging on to what we had
Until you board the train
Now i muse this oath i took
These hands that feel such pain
How is it we've switched our course
When it was set in stone?
How am i to move on now
Without you, all alone?
What a risk i'm taking now
As bend turns into break
What a fate i'm testing now
With my whole life at stake
Dare i cross the line again
With hell that came before?
I can't help love a tragedy
I just want this once more
Here's a chance to run again
To shatter You & I
Go on, say my name again
And look me in the eye.

Let Go

It's more than coincidence
The pattern on this sheet
His heartbeat makes the rhythm
And his footsteps make the beat
The numbers match the timing
And my limbs are tied in place
The cracks that line the ceiling
Form the image of his face
It seems that every nightfall
He appears in front of me
He haunts me while i'm sleeping
And he will not let me free
I want to start this over
To unlock him from my heart
It's time to make my come back
I am ready now to start

or not really racist but predjudice in some way? please tell me!

Okay here's the story:
I woke up early this morning to an alarm going off in my building I live in on-campus apartments and I just moved here so I had no idea what to do, it didn't sound like a normal fire alarm and there was no call for a fire drill but my suitemate said we should go outside. So we all file out and it just so happens at my school there are alot of Muslims, Middle Easten people, basically the majority of students living in this building are international. And when we got outside noone I knew as being 'incharge' was there to tell us what to do. There were a few men with beards and turbans on telling us all to go over by the fence, but the area where they were telling us to stand was inclosed, so I can't understand if it was a REAL EMERGENCY we would not all want to be enclosed like that with no way out! THis all had me really confused!

First, describe the person you would like to be. Then, describe how that is different from who you actually are today. This can include anything, but I particularly want to hear about religion, education, career, and personality.

Thanks! :o)

or who have worked for retail? I was one of them, and I was a happy go lucky person with a great personality, UNTIL I witnessed customers who told me to throw away their child's soiled diaper, a woman who wanted to return her pants back that she was wearing, a woman who was the devil who started yelling at me saying she didn't like my crucifix pendant and though I was good, and customers who threw clothing all over the racks after I cleaned it up. As a result, when I shop I never acknoledge people, when in a mall I look straight at clothes at not people. It has burned and scarred me for life, I would say. As a result, I would never want my children working for retail because of the animals out there. Few good ones, but the stress from the animal customers who want MORE!! Your thoughts.

I work as a admin assistant/receptionist. Often i'll find that i've finished my daily duties and i'm looking for something to do. I know it sounds like a good thing, but if i want to keep this job and move up in the company i need to be given the chance to do so. The problem is the head receptionist will not delegate any work to me - it's like she wants to keep it all for herself. I know this might sound weird, but when management comes down from HQ it doesn't look good for me to be doing nothing or pretending to be busy. Anyone dealt with a simular situation?

The country of Norway was rated as the most peaceful country in the world in a 2007 survey by Global Peace Index. [9] A 2005 Gallup Poll found that 72% of the people of Norway are Atheist or Agnostic, and only 10% of the people of Norway are Christians. Why do we Americans seem to think that we need a magic deity to give us morals?

Just wondering

I live next to a Starbucks Coffee and every single day of the week at the exact same time, there is this strange guy who come in the Starbucks, take a big cup of coffee (an expensive one, not sure which one it is but I think he always takes the same), sits outside (always at the same table) and drink his coffee.

He probably didn't cut his hairs for a very long time because they are very long, he almost looks like a caveman! The first time I saw him I thought he was a homeless person because of the way he looks, and I was wondering what he was doing in this place drinking an expensive coffee. He actually looks like a homeless person because of the way he dresses, and have really big hairs like cavemen, his face also make me thinks of a caveman, and I think he have a beard.

If this guy is actually homeless or something, what the hell is he doing in this Starbucks every single day? If he is not a homeless, why does he looks like that, is he a hippy or something?

What do you guys think?
