First, describe the person you would like to be. Then, describe how that is different from who you actually are today. This can include anything, but I particularly want to hear about religion, education, career, and personality.

Thanks! :o)

I'm much of what I want to be, and at the age of 60, I should be. I'd like to be a published writer, though. Or more precisely, I'd like to have the self-discipline it takes to write something for publication.

And I'd like to have friends that don't live so far away. I've been in St. Louis since February, and have a few acquaintances, but no real friends. A friend is someone who visits in your home or invites you to their home, and I've not had that yet, except the woman I stayed with when I first got here, and we are no longer close. I guess she over-dosed on me after two months!

I want to be what God wants me to be, like Jesus! I know it is made possible by hanging my helpless soul upon His all-sufficient merits.

I read somewhere that Jesus revealed no qualities and exercised no powers that men may not have through faith in Him, that His perfect humanity is that which all His followers may possess if they would be in subjection to God as He was!

When that happens, will not the world be captivated by the glory of an abiding Christ? Will not many who styled themselves as atheists be transformed by this manifestation, by the revelation of the love and mercy of God through human instrumentalities?

How about that for a goal?

I am sure that that is what God is anxious to see in every one of His children that His name may be glorified upon the earth as it is in Heaven!

God bless,

sky

Rich, powerful, sexy, witty, charismatic, intelligent. Religion doesn't matter, education doesn't matter, career is "have one."

I am not rich. :P
