The bill allows illegal immigrants who were in the country as of Jan. 1, 2007, to come forward, pay fees and fines, pass a background check and receive an indefinitely renewable four-year Z visa to live and work legally in the U.S.

Ultimately, holders of Z visas could qualify for citizenship if they learn English and hold down jobs. Heads of households would have to return to their home countries, whether or not they sought a green card bestowing permanent legal resident status.

The bill also creates a new employment-based point system for new immigrants to qualify for green cards based on their education and skill level, and eliminates or limits visa preferences for family members of U.S. citizens and permanent legal residents.

I have not made up my mind about the death penalty...

how ever.. I do find that question interesting....

why would we KILL someone in order to prove the point that killing is wrong? Doesn't that seem a little curious....

Long ago, in the middle of the day the streets were deserted. Everyone was working, or in school. Nowadays, any city USA, the streets are crowded all day, every day. I know only 1% of 1% of the population work shift work. So who are all these people? Don't they work? Who's paying for all of this?

I BEG you not to watch Jim Carrey's 'Number 23'.

I had to switch off with 23 mins to go, and the way I see it that still makes 23. Weird, eh?

Seriously! Would you, the posters and answerers of YA take serious advice from random people on the internet? I don't really think that is a good idea. These people could be anyone. Ok, see I am fifteen years old. I cannot drive yet and summer is here. I feel like there is really nothing to do considering all of my friends live very far away. I go to a small school and the students that go there live far away. So i want to know if you guys know of anything i can do that is fun which will pass the time. For instance like a club or some type of competition that is going on which i can join. Just anything..! Thanks

Anyone else find humor in illegal immigrants who come to America yet still fly the flag of their country of origin?

ex: Illegal immigrants from Mexico driving a hoopty around with a Mexican flag.

Honestly. If your country is so great that you would proudly display its colors then why are you so desperate to live here?

think about it , how many times have you seen the inside of your stomach or brain cos thats were they hide all the electronics, i reckon we are all robots and the blood we lose when we get a cut or a graze is simply a protective fluid to help the skin heal , how else could you explain simon cowell ?
