Seriously! Would you, the posters and answerers of YA take serious advice from random people on the internet? I don't really think that is a good idea. These people could be anyone. Do none of us have friends or family we can trust and turn to? If this is just for fun why are people being flagged and trolled and all that other stuff. Its madness my friends, madness!

For me, it largely depends on how things are worded. If they appear educated and informed on the topic then I do seriously consider taking the advice or information seriously.

I do not, however , take anything serious when wikipedia is mentioned. It is junk and not accredited by any scholar. I hear people here constantly told at school this fact.

As for myself, I am ostricized by my family because I absolutely REFUSED to accept their brainwashing. Needless to say, I am no longer a memeber of the family and I really prefer it that way. "Family" does not necessarily have to be blood.

You can pretty much tell when someone knows what they are talking about. Seriously, though, many posters only want an opinion.
