Sorry, just trying to round up everyone with a strong opinion. I have nothing against pro-lifers, or homophobes. You're all great. What I wanted to ask is this--When you read a question on a sensitive topic, do you feel obligated to push your own beliefs on others?
I see posts on abortion, same-sex marriage, politics, etc., and a good portion of the answers always involve someone forcefully pushing their beliefs on someone else. I'm not talking about the people who simply explain their reasoning. I'm referring to the rabid defenders out there who aren't content to simply say they aren't comfortable with homosexuality and instead have to berate the asker for not reading his bible.
If you are an offender, can I ask why you do this? Looking down your nose at the asker, or spouting your superiority complex all over this site won't convert anyone.
So, uh, what's your motivation? I'm genuinely curious.
