i am a Chinese girl, and i've heard many people commented on Chinese girls being the ugliest compared to the other Asian ethnic girls such as Japanese and Koreans. i don't think it's a fair comment.. what do you think? can you really tell the difference between these girls? and if you do have a preference, girls from what Asian countries that you think are pretty and why? thanks :)

I don't think so, not genetically. I just think it is because China is a poorer country, and nutrition is poorer, and they can't afford some of the cosmetic luxeries that the other countries' people can.

I agree that Chinese, both girls and guys are the ugliest race in the world. I was in a school where the classes were swarming with Chinese students and I was there for 5 years - yet to see a GOODLOOKING Chinese. I prefer the looks of other Asians. People I ve talked to also agree with my opinion.
Even the top tier of Chinese actresses/models (who have all the right tools like makeup and plastic surgery) pale in comparison to actresses from other countries like Korea, India or America.
Well, i guess you win some you loose some ... Im talking about their mad math skills!

I've never heard of that kind of comment before.
But all I can tell you is that they're stupid, and probably thinks that chinese girls are ugly because of the media.
Edit: How does the media fit in? Well, most of the time the media potrays the chinese female to have super slanty eyes and shet like that. Actually...that goes for every asian stereotype but you know how stupid people are these days. They'll think any kind of asian they see is Chinese.

Try not to let these people who say such things get to you. After all they obviously don't know a lot, because every culture has varying degrees of what's considered attractive.
Just remember that beauty is subjective, like some people go for hair or eye colour, but in reality it is who you are that counts most.
Westerners find different things attractive to each Asian country, so that could be reasoning for these ignorant people to say such things too.
Yes, I can tell the difference between the more general groups. My current gf is Chinese, yet many people think she's Japanese, though I never made this mistake.

Interracial couples will always get more attention than others, even in a very diverse city like NYC. Doesn't matter if there is a TV show with them and just because the show has high ratings doesn't mean everyone watches it.
