I am 16 and I filled out an application to work in the Cafe in Barnes and Noble. They said since I am 16 there are probably some things I can and can't do. She said I could probably wash dishes. Just wondering how much would I make only working the weekends?

You would probably make whatever the starting wage is in your area. For some places that is minimum wage...(around $5.50 an hour I think). In some areas of the country, like the one I live in, starting wages are much higher, even $7 an hour or more. Find out what your friends at similar jobs started at, and you will get an idea of what you can expect.

My Love - you completed the application, you spoke with whomever 'she' is - and since "she" told you - you could probably wash dishes - why didn't you ask "she" how much money you could make only working weekends? Yahoo Community can't tell you what "she" would tell you.......'cause - we don't know.....
