I personally think its gotten a bit out of hand to the point where its expected before you even sit down at a restaurant or anywhere. Am I crazy or isnt the idea of a tip a thanks for doing a great job. And why should it be 20% now? What service are they giving me thats better than 5 years ago? I know people say oh but they make so little - yes but they wouldnt make so little if people didnt tip so much to begin with so that employers rely on it.

I don't think so. I was born and raised here but the pressure of living is to great. I would probably be better off on a deserted island living in a hut. I graduated high school. 3 years of college, 3 1/2 years military honorable discharge, no criminal record. But the problem is I'm not spectacular. I'm not special. Any advice?!?!?

Why would anyone be a vegetarion? It is natural for human beings to eat meat. And if they were right, then why isnt there any other animals that require meat becoming vegetarians? All vegetarians do is disrupt the food chain and it also pisses me off when they look down on "meat-eaters" for doing what naturally comes to them. Anyone agree

They hate Capitolism, freedom and personal initative to succeed......why?

Why should we all be in second place? Why NOT grade with a RED pen? Why should America be about these people? They breed medocracy and Americans are quickly falling into second place on the world scene......maybe then, liberals will be happy!

Can we all rejoice and be thankful to God that we are all alive today, to see another beautiful day and realize that we are all ONE. I want everyone to say something nice about someone right now (let's ignore any racist trolls).

I love you all! Let's all smile!!!!!!!

I heard a story a little while ago that pissess me off. Some people went to a firehouse and noticed that there were no women and said that there was discrimination in the hiring of firefighters. The firefighters argued that women applied but for the final test, they had to carry a 160 pound body on their back and climb out the window and down a ladder. None of the female applicants could do it so the fire department was forced to make the body only 100 pounds, and then more women made it in. That is ridiculous! Nobody weighs 100 pounds except for skinny little ten-year-olds! My dad weighs 250 pounds and if some weak (no offense) woman comes in to save him, he's gonna die. While I do believe that women are vastly superior to men in many ways, we do have some things on women and people need to agknowledge that. We can't go around pretending that men and women are both the best at everything. There are jobs meant for women and jobs meant for men.

Or is this something from the past? It is hard to believe that maids were once so common but in this modern era they hardly exist anymore. Granted we have cleaning services, but that is hardly the kind of service one got from a live in maid. Do they exist in other countries or is this form of work simply in the past?

I wonder what it would have been like to work as a live in maid. To wait on someone hand and foot day in and day out. Perhaps it is better that it is in the past.

rightfully so, that guns kill many innocent people, including children. Guns are not the problem. Bullets are the problem! If we could outlaw the private ownership of BULLETS, we could solve our "gun" problem. What do you think?

Ever heard the phrase "I've been there, I've done that"? Well, adults say it often to teens. Do you think that adults judge teens too fast? It seems like adults think all teens are the same. What do you think?

I live in a really small town. I'm the really shy quiet girl who keeps to herself. My problem is people still seem to start rumors about me and basically hate me before they even know me. I don't go to parties hardly ever but there has been a couple rumors about me at parties doing all this stuff that never happened. Both guys and girls do this. I've had people call me all sorts of names and insult me whatever way they can. It's starting to become too much. I don't think there is anything wrong with me, I don't act weird and I don't think I'm goofy looking or anything. I was just wondering, after being out of highschool for 3 years why do people still seem to have the need to act liek that? I've never done anything to them, I'm just wondering why i seem to be a target. thanks in advance

I mean Im only 20 years old and I can see that the world around me is just getting faker and faker. Ever since high school I noticed that most people just want to be accepted and by achieving this they have to change and forgot their past. If the newest thing is to carry a little dog everywhere you go, youll see a bunch of girls doing that. If the media tells us that guys need to look a certain way to get the hot chick, guys are gonna change so they can achieve that. Why is it that there are few people who are true to themselves and know what really matters in life? The things that matter to me are my family, true friends, future, and happiness ... what do you value?

I've been to two interviews last week and I thought I did very well in both of them. They both said to me that they will let me know by next week if I got the job. Why do employer's make you wait for a week, why don't they just pick a day and if you don't hear from them on that day then you obviously didn't get it. I can't stand the waiting. I don't think it's very professional to make a potential employer wait a week or two to see if they got the job. Does anyone else agree?
