when technology wasn't that advanced, we could find other stuff to do that required family time. but now we are too distracted by technology to have some quality bonding time.

Most people seem to have forgotten what a family is for. People go for instant gratification now.

I think they talk to each other as much as they used to. I think we just idealize the past and think families talked more.

umm well for reasons like this, sitting in front of a computer all day, watching tv, shopping, with all this new technology well pretty much have found other things to do!
