REDEMPTION SONG BOB MARLEY
G G/F# Em
Oh pirates, yes they rob I
C C/B Am
Sold I to the merchant ships
G G/F# Em
Minutes after they took I
C C/B D
From the bottomless pit
But my hand was made strong
by the hand of the almighty
he fought in this generation
triumphantly
Chorus
------
D G
Won't you help to sing,
C D G
These songs of freedom,
C D Em
'cos all I ever had
C D G
(was) Redemption songs, ......[C]......[D]
emancipate yourself from mental slavery,
none but ourselves can free our minds.
Have no fear for atomic energy,
'cos none of them can stop the time
Em C D (x4)
How long will they kill our prophets
while we stand around and look?
some say it's just a part of it
we got's to fulfill the book
Chorus

I'm afraid I am going to be difficult and suggest a song I don't actually know the name of! All I can tell you is it's from the 60s and features no vocals, only an electric organ and is very upbeat with some high notes...if you know what I mean please someone help!

One of my old time favorites is Queen Majesty by the Techniques....... I'll love it forever..... I don't know what your favorite can be, and I wouldn't even try to guess. There are way too many WICKED reggae songs out there. But yeah I love that Treasure Isle classic Queen Majesty.
