It is just my observation but it seems that a lot of people who are gay tend to take the position that everyones opinion towards gay people (especially if its against it) is automatically a gay bashing opinion.......what do you think - honestly...

Question Details: 1 out of 10 Brits are now emigrating to live overseas and loads more are buying overseas properties. Why aren't they blamed by the people of destination countries whilst the Japanese were criticised badly when they did it in 80's? HongKong Chinese were also blamed when many of them emigrated to Canada because they prompted the house price increase.

I was talking with a friend, and told her how I noticed that men seem to prefer having company when they sit down to eat, whereas women many times don't mind eating alone, and even more often much prefer eating alone. Her opinion is that it's because of women liking to overeat and binge-by eating alone they are free to do this.

To my surprise, the people there were, all in all, pretty friendly--better than here in yucky Kentucky. In tourist-oriented and much less "touristy" areas alike, many of the store and hotel clerks, restaurant waiters, and average locals were very polite and friendly.

Also...
-Many of the women are jaw-dropping gorgeous;
-Walking around downtown gives one the vibe of being in a thriving metropolis;
-It is very cosmopolitan, and there are many people with whom one can have an intelligent conversation;
-Buckhead is a cool neighborhood, it is really something to see;
-The foothill areas around the city are just beautiful;
-Nothing like the ATL Braves!

I love Texas more than any other place! But, when leaving Kentucky, if I couldn't go to Texas, I might well just move to Georgia.

I was recently discussing the movie 300 with a friend. I said all it was is a dumb non-horror slasher film. He said that it's about victory and pride. Pride used to be something awful. In greek legends hubris led to humility. One of the seven deadly sins was pride. Now It seems like something to be desired. When did this reversal happen, and is pride good? Explain.

Why is it that black people get offended when a white person calls them the N word...

But then the black people think that it is okay to go around and call the white people the C word?

I don't get it. I am sorry if this sounded offensive, but I need to know.

When the Sydney Harbour Bridge was built it helped many Sydney-siders and Australians as a whole through the depression as an example of a beautiful yet functional piece of architecture. People were proud of the new Bridge and even though it cost so much money, the social benefits for society far outweighed this. Today, it is part of our identity, so what more could we build to create this same proud feeling?

Whats up guys, I've been making a nice living doing clinical research studies, like they pay $3,000+ if you're in the right ones so its enough to pay a few mo. rent. But basically I'm wondering, how can I set things up (welfare etc. I have issues and have gone to a mental hospital) so I can A. Pay rent B. Get food and C. Smoke ganja. I mean I could continue to put my health @ risk w/ the clinical studies and I have friedns that have done it for years, however, b/c of my issues, I want to have the luxury to be able to smoke herbs again.

Peace yall, no joke answers please.

Will it be bad to delete other people's comments on myspace?
It's because I have a friend that always send me picture comments and sometimes they'll be too big and it'll strech out my page. She also sends me some picture comments that doesn't matter or makes any sense. Last but not least, some of her comments are kinda dirty.

Her comments just mess up my page? Will I be a bad friend if i delete it?

I went to Toronto for one week for a vacation. (I'm from Maine, US.) and as my family and I were asking for directions, the guy asked us if we were American, we said yes and he started cursing at us and telling us to leave the country!

We left two days earlier because a lot of people seemed to notice our American accents and treated us horribly. I know that I would have never treated anyone, much less a Canadian person that way if they came to America.

I just don't understand. My family and I were very polite and just wanted to see Canada. :(
