Is this considered sining, i get good grades, dont talk back to my parents ,dont get into trouble, but i smoke weed, is that considered a sin?

Take it from me, 14 years old, avrage grades,smoke weed. It is not considered a sin, it does not harm you in any way, only if you are a harcore adict (nearly impossable to overdose on thc). It is only "Convinced" that it is bad and illegal. it may be frowned upon but not a horrable act,(although everyone is brainwashed by todays sociaty that smoking weed is the closest thing to murder). So in conclusion smoking weed IS NOT a sin, just frowned upon.. Besides only god decides what is a sin and not, not some local preist or politic right? Also it is naturaly grown(made by god), hear that, god made us weed, lets smoke it, or eat it ..whatever

Okay...now firstly YOU asked if it were a SIN! Right? I am assuming you mean in Christianity. If so......yes (because it is illegal). But so are lots of other things. And sinners sin. They can't help it. No one particular sin is different than the other.
Lying is a sin, and so is back-biting, having a hauty spirit, etc. If you are smoking weed, I'm assuming you are not a Christian. So then smoking weed is no different than any other sin. There is no certain sin that sends you to Hell. Unbelief is why people go to hell.
I wouldn't worry about smoking pot. Now, once you get "saved", that is another story.

It would depend on what you consider to be a sin. The Biblical sin means to "miss the mark of perfection" we ALL do that on a daily basis. However while smoking weed may not constitute a sin it is against the law. Even if you never got caught think about this. Recent studies have concluded that "pot" is a gateway drug and DOES lead to other forms of drug abuse. This in spite of what we may believe about pot namely that it is harmless. Just recently in our news there were parents who were caught forcing their toddlers to smoke pot and are now facing jail time and accounts of child abuse. Your friends may tell you that pot is not harmful but it is! Live above the influence!

I just asked yesterday if smoking weed was a sin and got made fun of by everyone that answered me. I really don't think it is because its from the earth their for God made it and was put here for a reason,but it does cause lack of motavation.

well the real question is do you feel bad when you do it? If you do then why bother, not sure if it is a sin but I know from experience it is NOT good for you and can lead to other addictions. God loves you, even in sin, if this is peer pressure maybe you shouldn't,just say no!

Well, you ARE breaking laws. You ARE putting money in the pockets of terrorists who turn around and murder innocent victims.
So, you ARE indirectly committing many sins.
