I was recently discussing the movie 300 with a friend. I said all it was is a dumb non-horror slasher film. He said that it's about victory and pride. Pride used to be something awful. In greek legends hubris led to humility. One of the seven deadly sins was pride. Now It seems like something to be desired. When did this reversal happen, and is pride good? Explain.

pride both has its boon and bane depending on how you you use it.. pride could make you feel superior then when your a butt head you step on other people's rights. Pride would also preserve and it would let you remember your dignity. After all,it matters on your decision and on how you want to live your life.Would like to hurt or help people..but then again, ain't pride one of those capital sins?
