I am a woman who does not mind eating alone. I am too old to be "afraid" to eat alone, I am not an over eater. I am an adult.

I always eat dinner with my husband. Lunch i usually eat alone. I prefer company. The thing i like best is to invite all our friends round, make a huge chili and all get stuck in, i love the chat and laughter and feeling relaxed and happy. It's the way i was raised, the house was always full at feeding time lol. In fact it still is, at my parents house, people come and go all day, my sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours, and my mother has this thing about feeding everyone.

I prefer eating in company, but with my boyfriend or a few good friends. I don't mind eating alone though.
P.S. I eat like a pig with or without anyone around...LOL.

When I'm really hungry I like to eat alone. Otherwise I rather be with a company of a woman than a man.

well in some cases this is true but i prefer eating with company mainly because life is short and why waste it being alone and board.and as for men they usually travel in packs anyway so why not eat that way.

I like eating with people because I like to chat. And If I overeat they'll be there right with me grabbing the fried fish.

It depends. If I am going out to eat (like at a restaurant or something) then it's nice to have company.
If I am staying in then eating alone is great.

I think men prefer to drink in public rather than eat. Good theory though

I hate eating alone, and I am a woman.
It all depends on your cultural upbringing, my dear.
I come from a fairly large family, plus I have a twin so I do not like being alone, period.

I'm the opposite. I feel very uncomfortable eating alone. My husband has no problem with it, probably because he has to on travel so much.
