I constantly hear that people should be "normal"
But with so many different types of people. So many different types of music. So many different types of religions, beliefs, subcultures, cultures, etc.
What exactly is normal?
To you at least?
Just curious.

I mean in the old-world traditional sense- or have they evolved in to the drink-riddled wasters we see in every town these days?

What exactly was a 'gentleman of the road', and when did they disappear, if this is the case...are there still a few examples hanging around?

What about in Oz, do you still get swagmen waltzing their Matildas, or is it the same with you guys?

Cheers!

Why do women persist in ringing you when they know your watching the football?, it defies belief, they ask you what your doing an hour before and you tell them your watching footy and they still try ringing

I asked a question about PEOPLE'S OPINIONS on interracial relationships and everyone freaks out. I guess people feel the need to be defensive for no reason. The question is not about YOU!

It apparently cost the American taxpayer $2,000,000,000 to inprison sex offenders every year. Therefore it has been reported that a solution to this problem is to castrate these perverts.
Do you think this is a risky venture, and would it not be just as cost effective and less risky to just hang them?

i just wanted to know what people think about the whole "being born gay vs.homosexuality is a choice" issue. and specifically, is there any proof--not theory or assumption, but PROOF-- to support either side. and please cite your sources, so i can look it up.

As I type this question, I know there are hundreds of people on Yahoo Answers doing the same thing, sat in front of their computers, notebooks, PDA's, and its pretty surreal. Kind of like when you imagine celebrities doing the same things ordinary folk do, like eat food, sleep at the same time you sleep, pop a number 2...

People are using their spare time to do exactly the same thing I'm doing. Difference is, you might be in a different timezone, and I might never meet you on a normal basis...

However, we have chanced upon each other in cyberspace, and you have caught me tryping this whilst eating dinner and catching up on some work...

What are you doing?

There are many horrendes crimes. More than once a young girl is kidnapped, raped, and murdered. Some of these killers are sentenced to life in prison and others are sentenced to death. Unfortunately, their death, if it happens, can take over 15 years.

I would rather see instant justice as determined by the victim's relatives.

No waiting and no appeals. Just get those horrible people on the other side of the lawn as quickly as possible.

If quick justice is not done in the near future, there may be a way to hire inmates , anonomously, to do the job.

I'm looking for an answer other than the obvious "he has penis/etc." Yahoo Answers community, what in your view, makes a man..."a man"?

having lived in USA for a while, I noticed that a big % of youths here do not respect older people, They learn to use cursewords at very young ages, they learn to smoke and drink in adolescence... I have lived in many countries esp in Africa & Asia, In most of them there isn't a law about drinking and smoking, it is odd to see incidents of minors smoking or using alcohol. DWI situations are very low and children respect adults.. cursewords are very rare to come accross or misbehaved kids... Parents & school teachers do not spare the rod when upbringing kids.. The US has spared the rod and spoiled the child.. Am I mistaken?
