When I look in the mirror I see what I see. But when there are a lot of people with me and we are all looking into the mirror , then we all see ourselves like a reflection upon the rippling waters in a calm lake. Once I looked into the mirror though and I honestly seen a monkey looking back at me and oh god, I nearly had a serious nervous breakdown. Its a good thing too that we have rearview mirror in our vehicles so we can keep track of who is following us, it could be the f.b.i, or John Travolta.

When you look in the mirror, you see what you think yourself are. It is very difficult to really see what other people see you as, since different people have different opinions. Even if you ask two of your friends how they see you, them might come up with different answers!

It is natural to see what I want to see. For example, if I have a complex about myself (I'm ugly! I have a big nose! etc.), I look in the mirror and see myself that way. If I think I'm the totalliest most beautiful gal in the world, I'm going to fall in love with my reflection. It's easier just not to care, personally. People who only like you for how you look would never make good friends. When you're old and wrinkly, you think they're going to stick around? It's the friends who like you for who you are that count most in life.

Its True, Only a camera shows the truth!

Mirrors seriously have a sight problem. If you want to know what you'll look like to others, take a picture in a brightly lit room.

No, dont use artificial light, use the cold light of day...

In a mirror, I never see myself and "flaws", I simply see my features, without the blemishes, spots, moles etc...

We are not this body IE; race, color, nationality, religion, gender, mind, intellect, job, etc. We are eternal spirit souls, Part and Parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, Etc. SO When I look in the mirror I do not see my self I see my material body, as do others. For info on Reincarnation, Karma, Etc. go to harekrishnatemple.c Read Bhagavad Gita as it is BY Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- tells who we are in actuality.

when I look in a mirror, I see myself as I perceive myself. I see faults that others might not. I can't see what other people see because I'm not them. we each see things slightly differently.

I am seeing myself. The best way to see what other people see, is to take a picture of yourself (that captures your whole body) then take a look at that picture. That way, you see yourself the way other people see you. Try it!

When I look in the mirror I see whether my hair is combed and groomed and whether I look presentable.

However, when I look deeper, I look myself in the eyes and I thank goodness I can still do that because I have no hidden agendas. I do not fool anyone and most important, I do not fool myself.
