Why do women persist in ringing you when they know your watching the football?, it defies belief, they ask you what your doing an hour before and you tell them your watching footy and they still try ringing

We forget that men can't manage to do two things at once, ie watch football, and talk on the phone at the same time. We also know that men are too intelligent to need to listen to the commentary, and the crowd noises can still add atmosphere.
Also another important point is that football often replaces our favourite programmes, so when it is on we have a spare moment to ring you.
Sorry, I will try to take this all on board in future.

idon't know. Women don't have any one activity that takes up so much time, I guess. They call, you answer football. They get a lot of things done. They call again. While they think a lot of time passed and you probably moved on to a different activity, you're still watching football.

Its a woman thing. Easiest thing to do is....NO WOMEN while watching football....unless there watching with you...and are not asking..."WHY DID THAT GUY THORW A RED FLAG?"...and dont pick up the phone when she calls...this should end any problems!

Maybe next time you should just say your going out and not answer the phone, luckily my hubby hates footy so no worries for me.

I wouldn't think of disturbing a man watching football - you'd never get any sense out them anyway so it would be a complete waste of time!

only some women do this because they think your choosing football over them but i can say my girlfriend does not do that because she watches matches with me ..........
