Why does it seem that people of wealth care more about "the children" of other countries. I read questions here from people like Tea Leoni and Clay Akin wanting us to help the children of Africa and other countries. Personally I have no problem with helping other people or people that are in other countries, but it seems that nobody cries out for the children that are impoverished here in the United States. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

My first semester I went away and I liked being on my own but I had a hard time making friends at the school I went to. The girls were snobby and not the type of people Id ever hang out with. Everyone later told me that school is know to be snobby. Now I plan on transferring next fall but cannot decide if I should go away or live at home. Ugh advice?

I know, i know, not much of a question, but i just felt the need to scream about it!!

Why is it that America is such a disgrace to the world? America is probably the most homophobic, racist, religion-hating country in the world, and that's really saying something. To add to that, America is THE fattest country on the PLANET, if not the UNIVERSE!

Americans are probablly the most ignorant people i know, and i know a lot of people. They think they are so much better than everyone else, and that everyone else is horrible and mean.

Not to mention, Bush is the most POMPOUS IDIOT i have ever heard of. He sends people over to their DEATHS in Iraq, and spends ALL of the taxpayers' money on useless things like defense to train MORE people to go to Iraq. I'm sure the next president will be even more of an IDIOT than the current one, considering the intelligence of the voting public.

Having said that, I feel much better now.

Most people agree with all the airbrushing and retouching the media sets unrealistic standards for girls especially when it comes to weight issues.....DOVE is the only thing I've seen launch a campaign with full figured women and "real" looking women...why don't other companies do that and if people are really against the "perfect look" campaigns why don't they do anything about them...as a consumer you can write letters or not purchase their products.....it seems everyone wants to complain about the "perfect" image that is set but no one wants to do anything about it....why is that?

I am not very good at English, and my spelling is no better than poor however I try whenever I write anything, especially where others might have to read it, to use the correct spelling and grammar. I have only come across Yahoo Questions this evening, and have already come across a large amount of poor spelling and terrible grammar. My question is what is the reason for this? Is it purely that people are lazy, or is there more to it?

If there are any spelling/grammar mistakes in this question then my apologies! ;)

All the options on the touch screen coppier at work totally confused me

So of course I wound up printing everything all to hell

I lost my temper and pounded on the machine which on most days only puts this forsaken hellspawn of office technocrap out of service for few hours

Not today

Being exhausted from a 6-hour crawling commute I have been downing coffee like its oxygen

So my coffe cup which I had set on a bookshelf near the coppy machine fell over do to the fact that the shoddy engineering of the building I work in channeled all the vibaration of my fists hitting the coppy machine through the bookshelf dumping coffee all over the machine

My first thought was this is going to be a little bit worse than the normal broken coppier monday routine

Then the there was a lot of smoke, sparks and the works
I ran like hell, the building was evacuated

Despite there only being minimal damage the building is now a crime scene

Is it Job search time?
