Depends on many things--how long have you know the person? How do you usually communicate? Was it just an IM, or was it well thought out? If you know them well, and they constructed a nice web page with a lot of personal stuff, I might consider it. If it was just an off-the-cuff proposal, I'd probably say no. And if it's someone from another country, you'd better make sure they're not just looking for a green card!!

Very likely not...that's asking for a real luck of the draw type situation. However, meeting someone via the net and then getting to know them over the course of a year or so including meeting each others family friends etc...very possibly yes then, provided it all worked out as it should.

No! You don't know somebody till you've lived with them for 6 months. How do you know someone who you haven't actually met? Anybody can be anybody on the internet. If you want to marry, go meet the guy and live with him for a while before you take the step.

It depends on if the person is your boyfriend and if you are ready to make the commitment. It may be a case where the two of you may be in too distant location. Or perhaps you are chatting on a msn/yahoo and the question came up.

Definately not if I have never met the person in the Real World, live in another country to them, and do nto have any feelings for them, which is almost impossible because when you talk, it is only text on a monitor.

Do you really know them? If it was just a chat room romance you have got to be kidding. Marriage is a life long commitment. It takes a little longer than sending an email.

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO thats a HUGE sign of weakness. Unless of course they had it as the top headline on the Yahoo news haha that would be different. But yea that along with doing this on the phone, via text message, instant messenger, etc. Thats such a turn off to me and it shows insecurity, intimidation, lack of confidence, all that good stuff.

Screw what people say on here and follow you heart . Do you both love each other ?? Then yes do it !!!!!! None of these people can tell you what to do. You can only do what makes you and the other person happy.

I know ...I met someone on here and she proposed to me already ...I said yes. I feel as though shes my one. And i want no one else. So to the people that say no..tell them to go to hell. You love who you love and no one can change that.
Now if you don't love him then no don't marry him.

GOOD LUCK !!!
