Because enlightenment (the offspring of truth) requires change. We are creatures-of-habit. Change is not only uncomfortable, it forces us to expose our vulnerabilities. More than likely a death of a comfortable habit. It might just make us feel guilty about not being responsible for our character. The only truth I'm sure of is my profound ignorance. This alone opens all doors for knowledge.

truth hurts because it embarasses and anoyys people by the truth hurts because its true and a very not nice thing to do think if you tell the truth about somebody that is say mean and ignorant then you will be the mean person and embarres people have you been embarresed think how you would feel if you have been hurt

You Would feel like crying right when somebody askes you are you ok or are you hurt

cause it hits you so hard..BAM:: from the hear down to the heart.... we are afraid cuz we hate the feeling after we hear the truth.. i hate it for real. it sucks but thats something you can never get around.. the best thing is mastering it so you can use it against people..facts are facts..

because truth takes guts to tell and guts to hear... most would rather be sheltered in a world of denial than listen to the truth that might not be what they wanted to hear.
