Most celebrities are uneducted idiots or rich educated idealists with no idea what it takes to live in the real world

I really just want the Meanings. For example, the name Earl means "Noble Warrior" and is derived from old English. You don't have to tell me your real christian name, I am just curious about its meaning and whether or not you think it suits you. It's a silly question.

There are so many countries in this world that have so many injured, or homeless, or starving people just filling the nations. Wouldnt it be a much better place if we stop spending millions of dollars on a super bowl half-time show and give millions to those countries. Or pointless purchases of thousand dollar dresses from rich people instead be given to those countries. Im a Christian so I believe that everyone in those countries should here about Jesus but even aside from Christianity, and on to the normal morals of human beings. We are so selfish to not just give to those people. We should worry less about buying $500 Ps3;s and just make a change in the world and just give give give. So give me your reponses on what I posted. Do you agree? Do you think there will be a big change in the world? Disagree? Any Remarks.

There are a whole load of questions in this forum authored by celebrities and regular joes about helping the poor and fixing the worlds problems. On the other hand the US is unilaterally critisized for involving itself in other countries affairs. Europe hates us for forcing pop culture on them. Muslims hate us for involving ourselves in the middle east squables etc etc.

By many we are seen as an evil imperialistic bunch. Why is it then that virtually everyone seems to think it's up to us to solve all of the rest of the worlds problems?

I saw this show on TV where they had a non-attractive person drop her books and no one stopped to help her pick them up, but when a pretty person dropped the same books in the same spot, people flocked to that person to help her out. Why is this? Are you guilty of this also?

I am so tired of celebrities seemingly trying to engender good will (i.e., publicity) by asking questions that make them appear to care about (fill in the blank). Maybe they do, maybe they don't.

Here's an idea: If you really care about something, do what Bill Gates and Warren Buffet have done and donate 90% of your wealth to whtever cause you hold dear.

This prof had hit on me a few times, asked if I was still dating my boyfriend, and anytime I'd ask him a question, he'd ask me to call him. He has given me his number about three times.. without me asking. Is it wrong to use this to possibly get a job that will help me get into politics?
