There are so many countries in this world that have so many injured, or homeless, or starving people just filling the nations. Wouldnt it be a much better place if we stop spending millions of dollars on a super bowl half-time show and give millions to those countries. Or pointless purchases of thousand dollar dresses from rich people instead be given to those countries. Im a Christian so I believe that everyone in those countries should here about Jesus but even aside from Christianity, and on to the normal morals of human beings. We are so selfish to not just give to those people. We should worry less about buying $500 Ps3;s and just make a change in the world and just give give give. So give me your reponses on what I posted. Do you agree? Do you think there will be a big change in the world? Disagree? Any Remarks.

I completeley agree. Instead of ubsessing over ipods, clothes ( yes..i know..hard one for females), cell phones, music, computers, television, and even our precious sports, we should focus on bringing the best out of our world. All together, we can really change the world.

It is indeed a sin to live in excess, which equates to gluttony, and greed, of the 7 deadly sins. I live a modest lifestyle, despite earning a good income, and I take care of my parents-in law, since they are both elderly, and give to those who are in need within my community. I do believe charity begins at home. Not all of my family members have done so well, so I feel that is my responsibility to provide for them, as I know they would for me, if they could. If we all took care of our families, both extended, and adopted, America would be in a much better place, financially, economically, and morally. We have starving, hurting people here in our own back yard, and what's a bloody shame, they are our fellow Americans! For goodness sake! Let's take care of our own, through health care, financial support, and education, so that we empower our own, in essence, pay it forward to others right here in the U.S. of A! The way I see it, is if you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem.

I agree. But there are so many unfortunate people and little help from the others. I help but I am not enough . Other people help but there isn't enough help.
It is an endless thing helping people.'
Yes there would be a big change in the world if more got together on this. but it will never happen. So do all you can and be glad you did.

people need to take care of themselves(wife husband childern) first. their family (mother father sister brother) second. their neighbors third. and the Church could take care of all the rest with no problem. but when you get the government involved they screw every thing up. I dont think there is anything wrong with working hard and getting ahead in life in fact I think you should. it would be wrong to tax those that work hard to better their lives more than those that do the least to get ahead if they dont care why should every one else? and if every one that worked from the CEO to the labor got the same pay why work harder or take on the extra load? think about what your asking.

You are correct. However most of those countries that have people living on those conditions are the ones that are spending millions on Guns and machinery for wars...They should worry about their own people instead of entering a war....

People want the biggest and best things the easiest way they can get them and in the most leisurely ways as possible.

As soon as people shift from the views of megachurches and over-paid athletes, we can focus on the downtrodden in our own country first.
