My name is Lynsey and I keep reading 2 different meanings. It either is a Scottish surname (Lindsey) meaning pool island or comes from old English from the Linden Tree. Seeing as they don't describe a person but a tree and an island then I'd say nope, it doesn't describe me. I think I prefer the pool island one though. I was named after my big sister' friend.

Its cool, my name is Gary, and its gaelic, meaning "The Thrower of the Spear". Having never thrown a spear, I don't think it suits me. However, alot of people say I look like a Gary (whatever one of those looks like)
