There are a whole load of questions in this forum authored by celebrities and regular joes about helping the poor and fixing the worlds problems. On the other hand the US is unilaterally critisized for involving itself in other countries affairs. Europe hates us for forcing pop culture on them. Muslims hate us for involving ourselves in the middle east squables etc etc.
By many we are seen as an evil imperialistic bunch. Why is it then that virtually everyone seems to think it's up to us to solve all of the rest of the worlds problems?

because we try to solve the worlds problems. we over look our own so we can help others. people are lazy by nature and if some one will help them feed them cloth them build roads and dams and power lines and do for them so they dont have to they well sit back and let you do it all then cry because your helping or cry because your helping another nation more then yours.

Because most of them see us as we have the money to just throw to what ever country needs it and if we don't give them enough they make us look like we don't care.
Though sometimes I do wish we would stop trying to help the others and fix our own problems here. Because when we do help someone they seem to talk bad about us and they never have anything nice to say.
