In america there are various cultures as you all know. Currently we have a problem with obesity but at the same time we have all these people obsessed with working out and being in shape...you see them running miles and biking etc..

Why are some americans not working out, while others are?
Could it be something to do with wealth? Seems the more wealthy work out more.

I have never considered this attractive. i don't see many popular female icons of contemporary American culture as attractive that personify mindless beauty. I just don't get it. How can you separate character from beauty? How can you see a shapely blond with the mind of a six year old as attractive?

I have grown up in western culture and as i grew up watching what little family values and self respect western society has for itself destroying itself sexual through sexual acts that breed aids to other countrys as well and broken family units that destroy the futures of children, without being taught what is and what is wrong .Western society now feeds on the addiction of people (which is abuse)through gambling ,drugs ,government drugs ,advertisers and pornography as i can think of more as well.The west now values the dollar over a healthy society and in the 1950's society valued the family and good work ethic overall .Changing religion is a lifestyle change.What do you think, it is a good idea or not?.A clean home is healthy home,A clean country is a healthy country .

I am only 21 and was looking at my old elementary school class pictures and there were only 1 or 2 fat kids in my class. A couple weeks ago I was looking at my 8 year old cousin's year book and atleast 1/3 of the kids in each grade are overweight. Is this common throughout North America or is just my community???

What has the world come to? Tyra banks being called fat because she weighs 160 lbs. is the latest nonsense I've heard. What is WITH that? People pushing girls to be unhealthily skinny (anorexic), people practically worshipping celebrities, so much war and hate, people posting videos where they are physically fighting one another. People get enjoyment out of watching people (teen girls primarily) fight and hurt each other? Where are the moral values that our country USED to have!? Heck - I wasn't even around in those days, but I still know it's important...what happened to civilization as we knew it? Young kids feel no responsibility, they feel as though they can do anything they want without facing any reprocautions, no matter what you threaten them with (detention, suspension, etc.) And disscussing important issues like this and being too deep is apparently "uncool." What is with THAT? Now I'm saying that everyone is this way, it's just that many people are. Tell me what you think...

I know it seems like most packages/envelopes, e.t.c. are shipped with clear tape on them, but I have like a huge roll of white tape but I don't have any clear tape. And I had 2 envelopes from packages I recieved before, and I have already put 2 items that I want to ship into the 2 envelopes and used white tape to reseal them. I also used white tape to tape a piece of paper on which I wrote the return address in the upper left corner and another in the middle to write the sending address on either of the 2 envelopes. I basically just want to know if it is ok to ship an item like this (with white tape) because it does look a little strange to me even though I taped it neatly. I don't want to go to the post office and have them tell me that I can't ship it like that.

I just read a question on here about someone who was mad that black people moved into their neighborhood. I want to know why there are still people like this around. I don't know a whole lot of black people, it might just be the part of the country I'm from, but are they really that bad, or are some people just paranoid and ignorant? Recently i've heard and read on abuse cases. Mostly involved physical abuse. Doesn't matter what age or gender but some of us still think that this is the best way in solving problems. I mean why would they think that beating someone is a perfect solution? Is that going to stop d "victim" behaviour? Don't we have any more mercy or humanity left???

I work 8-6. I use to like it, now I don't.
I work-out 7-8. I like it.
I see friends, go out and stuff 8-11. I love it.
I sleep 11-6 (much longer on w/ends). I like it (love the w/end).

If I could have a better 8-6 I would have a better life. What are my options?
