Yes it is a fact that conservatives give much more money to charities and it's not just the wealthy conservatives. I have a good bit of research that my dad and I did and the year of the 2000 Presidential election the state that gave the most to charities was MS, the poorest and the state that gave the least to charities was Massachusetts, one of the wealthiest. Liberals tell the poor working class that the "rich" Republicans want to keep them down. I really have to wonder how it is that they come up with their numbers when all most all of the movie stars are libs, there are as many if not more wealthy libs as there are conservatives. They just want to try to appear to be members of the "huddled" masses.

I am a Liberal and I would love to give money to charity BUT i don't have any money to give. I am a single mother with2 jobs just trying to make ends meet for my Baby Daughter and myself. i live in a 1 one bedroom apartment I am also a Christian so does that mean just because i have NO money i can spare right now does that mean i am a low life person? does that mean conservatives are better people then me? my God loves me. and that is what gets me through this stupid life.
Oh and BTW libererals are Americans also. I Love MY country very much. I have 2 Cousins fighting in this stupid war in Iraq. and i know lots of liberals that are fighting in the war. so stop the hate

This is pure bunk. This is pure generalization. Somewhat like saying all conservatives are like sheep You have no way to know how much is given to charity by anyone group. But the big lie becomes the truth if you repeat it often enough, over and over and over.
