Ok. My friend is very racist against mexican people. And it really bugs me. I've grown up around mexican people basically my whole life. I need to know how to deal with her opinion.

When she starts saying something, excuse yourself from her presence and soon she will learn not to talk about mexican people in front of you.

Tell her to stop generalizing an entire group of people based on the actions of a few.
Don't even humour her with a polite chuckle or laughter when ever she makes a deragotory comment or joke. In time she will get your drift

You should accept that you both have your own individual opinions and most likely you can't change her way of thinking. But you can ask her not to speak her opinions of mexicans to or around you.

It depends what kind of stuff she says, why she dislikes them? You need to prover her wrong, but it might not work. Racists clearly don't use their brain properly so it might all be in vain

It's okay to not have the same opinions as your friend. Don't let it ruin your friendship. If she disses them in front of you ask her to not says those things in front of you.

You should just let her know that you don't share those same views and you would appreciate it if she kept derrogatory comments/jokes to herself.
