First, a debate about tyra's weight is not deep. Debating society's ills is just something people do not want to face. WHY? Because people are causing the ills they do not like, and they know it. Kids don't feel responsibility because parents do not teach them to. Kids feel no need to be responsible for their actions - good or bad, because parents do not make them be. Kids have always fought. They did 300 years ago when I went to high school. Every week, there was at least 1 fight at lunch or after school. Now, it is just publicized, and the kids are stupid enough to video it and publish it. The pundants on TV apparently have forgotten what it was like when they were a teen. Celeb worship? Do not get that, I don't care. When I lived in LA, Burbank to be exact, it was common place to see celebs out and about - we lived very near the studios. I always thought that was just their job. So, I have no real explaination for that. Suspension and detention is not a deterant, not now, never has been.
If you want to know my real opinion of the ills facing society today? Let me ask you this, when did all this type thing begin happening? In my opinion, it began when the people who did the whole "hippie" deal began having kids. Now those people who were the "hippies" are in power, and have brought the same mentality they had then to the front of american society and it has become mainstream. Entitlement mentality, life should be fair, if it feels good, do it, are some of the ethics being instilled today. However, these theories are hypocritical because they do not work. This is the basis for such wonderful practices today such as political correctness, prisons unsuccessfully being about "reforming", the asinine state of our educational system, and judges that give child molesters probation, murders 8 years, and people in possession of marijuans 25 years. Illogical.
Yeah, it was the liberal, free love 60's that produced our issues today, and I don't think it will change anytime soon. BUt it is not the kids who feel that way, it is the parents who teach them to be that way. It is the parent who gets mad at teachers that fail their kids, it is parents that will sue in court for "unfair" treatment or if their kid slips and falls on the ice. Parents are allowing all this, and teaching all this. Granted, kids will be kids, we were, you were, each generation is different than the next, and is totaly and completely incomprehensable by the 2 generations before it. That is life.

It's probably true that some aspects of our culture and our world are "worse" than in the past. At the same time, there are aspects that are much better.
Most of us,when we're kids, don't have much appreciation of the hard things in life, and so when we get older and see there's a lot of tragedy out there, we tend to look back to the "old days" with the perspective of our care-free childhoods.
Politicians and religious leaders like to focus on the so-called good old days and claim how things are worse now than they were then - because they want us to look to them for answers. The media focus on the bad things because they know that is what we tend to be interested in watching or hearing about.
And people have been complaining about the immorality, irresponsibility, and wildness of kids since ancient times.

Japan's tsunami substitute into brought about by the earthquake, that's merely brought about by plates below the floor shifting. Its no vast deal :-) additionally, the only reason they say 2012 is the tip of the international, is through fact each and all of the planets are going to line up. they say which will make a gravitational distinction. PSH. liars. finally, the earth isn't spinning quicker. each little thing would be ok. the international isnt coming to chaos- think of roughly it! those organic mess ups ensue each 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. in our lifetime, the international won't come to an end. desire this helped! :-)

No, for an average woman Tyra would not be considered as getting too fat at her current weight. But a definite yes Tyra is getting too fat by the standards she set for herself in the past as a supermodel and by the standards she now sets for others on America’s Top Model. She has definitely retired from the runway but through America’s Top Model she remains connected to the world of fashion and being judged by outward appearances. Were she truly retired and not judging others there would be far less interest in her putting on weight.
Tyra no longer seems to have the incentive or discipline to watch what she eats and her visible lack of muscle tone now that she is in her 30's, more pronounced since her recent retirement indicates she does not have any passion for exercise. It seems apparent now that she probably dieted and exercised much more during her runway years than she let on at the time. Her decision to make 2005 her final appearance on the Victoria’s Secret special was made in the nick of time as the changes in her body were starting to become obvious.
Even though Tyra still looks great, especially when compared to the non-supermodels of the world, I am afraid that her habits, genetics and the passage time are revealing the more rotund Tyra of years to come. One need only look at her mother, an attractive but obviously full figured woman, in the current issue of People to see Tyra’s future natural form. Without a disciplined regime of diet and exercise an average weight gain of only 5 pounds a year would put her well over 200 lbs by the time she is in her early 40's. This is a conservative estimate, if we are to believe that she has only gained 30 pounds since 2005, since she averaging a gain of 15 pounds a year. Tyra’s famously large and natural breasts, which along with her height have served her well in the past to distract from her lower body weight, are another indication of her natural propensity to store fat. The rest of Tyra's body is now simply catching up to her very ample bosom, providing a natural belly cushion of support as her well-flaunted endowments succumb to the effects of gravity.
Perhaps the current attention will inspire Tyra to push away the plates of comfort food and hit the gym, but I doubt she will go that route as her interests now lie elsewhere. Besides her current audience is no longer made up of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition fans or those who attend the fashion shows in Paris and Milan. Her current fan base watches daytime television and they are more than happy to see Tyra progress towards the plus sizes that many of them wear. You can hear them shouting “go girl!“ on the Internet and declaring that Tyra will only become more beautiful in the future as her ever growing curves obscure any memory of the what many of them view as the oppressively thin and taut Tyra of the past. Tyra may still be ahead of the fashion curve the girth of the population increases and the thin models of the world face scorn and even unemployment if they fail reach the new Body Mass standards that are being imposed in some countries. Tyra may even be in demand someday to help overly skinny models gain weight. With her height and bone structure Tyra could weigh 260 or more with little effort and before we know it the hostess of Americas Top Model could be a contestant on The Biggest Loser. Now that would be must see TV.

We are in the "end times" when the scripture tells us that their will be wars and rumors of wars, vanity in people, people will be lovers of themselves, etc. (what you mentioned) to know more about this study the New Testament and it will enlighten you into a lot of world issues. And the frightening thing is...it gets worse before it gets better.
