I enjoy this site . . . I find it mind stimulating, funny, eclectic, interesting, enlightening . . . Yet, I just read a question asking why her sisters belly button (swabed by a q-tip) smells like cheese.

Should I take that as a sign that it's time to say goodnight here ?

its like i dont get it american eagle has normal sized clothes it goes up to x-L i mean i barely fit in a large at abercrombie whats up with that! and dont tell me well lose weight you fat azz it just seams wrong

I never get allowance. I cant wear faded new style jeans because they are professional people parent. i have no cellphone and all of my school mates. About 1000 students in our school and 998 has cell phone which mean me and my brother don't. All they care is report card. I have no game system. When we get home all they want us is to study. Study. Study. No American children study at home except for homework and quizzes. They always say advance. and all they care is 4.0. I had 3.7 they didnt even give me a Ps2. They say nothing until 4.0. I am embrasure i have no faded or new style jeans because it is not professional and always buy shirts and khaki and black dress pants and always tuck in. what can i do. I have no MP3 player and they think it is bad. Please give me some advice that can make them better. How do American kids have lots of money in their wallet or purse. by allowance of course but i cant. I clean everything in the house. Don't know why they do this? I need help? Advice.

Every race that came to our country was treated as an outsider. There were more Native Indian and Asian slaves than there were black slaves. What about the mess the government put the indians in, fencing them in reservations, poisining their blankets, raping their woman and daughters, and killing them for fun? Where does this country get off treating the blacks like royalty while they continue to use the indians for casino profits. Several tribes have seperated because of our government backed casinos in the reservations in order to draw out trillions in tax dollars regardless of how the tribes voted.Then they point the finger at the indians for tax free liquor and smokes. Haven't the poor Native Indians given enough. When will we take from the African Americans????

What exactly does the man do to bring a Positive Push toward equality?

I feel as though he's harming our chances of equality by bullying the corporations, acting arrogant, and sticking his nose where it does belong.

selling your first daughter to slavery is ok(Exodus 21:7-11) so is to stone your brat son to death (Leviticus 20:9) or killing anyone who works on a Saturday (Exodus 35:2) and to send anyone who ever played football to hell, because "touching a pig's skin is an abomination" (Lev.11:6-8). So if you're gonna say that homosexuality is bad because the bible says so, then you must also agree with the previous statements.

Tonight, I watched, a documentary charting the history of a private school noted for its fine English musical heritage with links to Royalty and Church. Canterbury.

So why on earth would watching this make me sad or is it really that I an inwardly annoyed and envious that my own education was so very different.

Don't misunderstand me, I did well with my comprehensive education and I would say that everything I have achieved has been done so with real effort. All gains through battle and true merit against the social group I have been born into.

The programme in question showed how the next generation of high earners were educated at costs of 24k a year, excessive but the end results are marvellous - these pupils are guaranteed to enter jobs or professions the rest of Britain dreams about.

Where does this leave you if your back ground is working class, I'm not saying you won't succeed but your chances are thin as the battle between class and priviledge rages on today.

I'm in middle school and would really, really like to go on a foreign exchange program next year when I'll be in grade eight, but I've looked everywhere and there's nothing that caters to students in Canada. I'm willing to go anywhere outside of North America, and if anybody has info on a program, I'd really appreciate it. :)

I was back in the states for winter vacation, and I have to say that I really enjoyed my stay. It made me start to think about going back home after being in Japan for 10 years. There were only a few observations that kind of gave me pause about the vitality of the American economy...
I'm from Lansing, Michigan, so you can say the economy is depressed for the working class. Most stores that I went to were almost without service staff. I felt like I was serving myself most of the time, and sometimes I actually did! Most of the people who were there were working just about as slowly as they could manage to do without falling over. I guess I've been in Japan for awhile, and people here tend to put their best face forward regardless of the job or pay. My mom kept saying, 'how can you blame them, they don't make enough money to live on'. I can see her point, and I think American businesses are mistaken to think that Americans should always buy from them, but that they shouldn't give

that have graduated high school actually keep in contact with people that you went to school with? (The reason I ask this is because teenagers tend to worry so much about what their classmates think, but I always say that when you graduate you won't ever see or talk to 99% of those people again. So who cares??)

Why do people feel the need to be "thumpin'" at 3 AM in my apartment complex.
