Will it be politically incorrect in a few years to scorn or show discrimination against people of this sexual orientation?

Scary thought, isn't it? That maybe it'll be considered a disease, like alcoholism. Go get treatment and you're all better. Never mind all the lives you messed up!! Heck when I was a kid, divorce was unheard of. Teenage pregnant girls, though rare, were treated with scorn or sent away in shame. Now that too is "normal," nobody thinks anything of it. It seems as though there are no moral boundaries anymore.

A pedophile is the worse of the worse. To pry upon innocent children. The law will never change and give leniencey to these sick individuals. A pedophile is not normal. It is a terrible threat to children all over the world. Any man/women who knows they are a pedophile needs to go and recieve treatment right away. It is not healthy and very abnormal. They need to come out of the closet and get help. How can anyone abuse children in this way ? With all the prostitutes , both male and female, why don't the pedophiles go to them. Leave our innocent children alone. Anyone who abuses or defiles a small child will be punished severely and answer to God.

but the problem is paedophiles don't just show an excessive affection towards children, they may commit some sort of sexually offensive acts to children of tender ages. This should always be legally forbidden as children are prone to be emotionally affected by these acts. And i think the problem of paedophiles is different from other highly controversial topics like homosexual marriage or so.

Pedophiles hurt kids. Kids have no say-so when they are controlled / molested by an adult.
I hope to God this never becomes acceptable in our society, though it once was in some cultures.
Homosexual relationships are between consenting adults, hence there is no comparison whatsoever between homosexuals and pedophiles.
I strongly believe that most people who tie the two together are just misinformed....or extremely nosey, dirty-minded and hateful........I mean, adult, consensual sex is just nobody else's business but the ones involved.
Who goes around trying to find out what other people are doing in bed? Who DOES that?

That is why we have to be careful about promoting "tolerance". Everybody is so concerned about be politically correct,we are getting afraid to stand up and just say certain things are WRONG.

1. Pedophiles have psychological issues that need to be addressed, not catered to.
2. Pedophiles choose partners who cannot legally consent to sexual intercourse. Gay people (to whom your reference is very thinly veiled) have sex with consenting adults.
3. Two men having sex or two women having sex does not effect you in any way. Since the world doesn't revolve around you, you cannot force everyone to conform to your sexual issues.
4. As long as fundie Christian lunatics are in power, we won't have true sexual freedom.

wouldn't be surprised, our society is spiraling down into the depths of darkness. First we rid prayer from schools (result, kids bring guns to school), now we legalize gay marriage, what's next?!

No, because like rape it is hurtful to others. Gay marriage does not hurt anyone. You can pray anytime so not praying outloud does not hurt anyone either.
