I asked if everyone would would pray for me this morning I had to get out at dark in my bad neighborhood. I did get to the meeting safely but I did encouter some scary people (drug dealers or something) so I jumped on the first bus that came and walked half mile to my job. I received a violation notice for this. Now who of you out there is offended by someone concerned for their safety? I put the question in the religion section also as I thought it was the category was anything to do with religion but it seems to be only for mockers rather than christian people with morals. I guess I might have offended someone by suggesting that some nice thug or gang member might harm me when I'm out alone in the dark. Gee why don't people get a life and stop being offended at everything. Does anyone see how ridiculous this is?

Is it just me or do you find yourself breathless sometimes because there's not enough time in a day? Kids activities, family obligations, social life, house keeping. I don't even work outside my home and I have help sometimes but, I don't have enough time. I shouldn't even be on here. Things I should be doing but, I need a break. Maybe I need a course in organizational skills? Not enough time! lol! Do you feel the same?

I am pursuing a degree in education and to be honest I'm slighty concerned about some anti-American backlash as it would pertain to an American teaching in a Newfoundland school district... Would Newfoundlanders be welcoming of a teacher who is not a Newfoundlander OR a Canadian? (I only ask because I have heard of the movement to retain Newfoundlander culture and I was wondering if an American in the education system might be seen as detrimental).

When I heard on Friday morning that the 13 year old was kidnapped the day before I was hysterical crying. But I was so happy when I heard that not only was he found but another boy that had been missing was found and reunited with his family. My feelings are that this boy that was just kidnapped on thursday was given a great role in life, one of his purposes in life was to help locate the older boy. I just felt the need to state this, give my support to the familes that have been ruinted andhope to God that this man is put away for a VERY long itme (forever would be good).

Does hearing news like this make you more fearful for your childrens safety? They say to send our children in pairs, but this boy was snatched right in front of all his friends!

I'm short (5'3"), and I've got blond hair and blue eyes. My favorite clothes places are Delias, American Eagle, Old Navy, Hollister, and Target. I love to make movies, play basketball, snowboard, and play violin. What would I be labeled? I'm doing a presentation on comedy or more specifically what Americans as a whole find something funny. Comedy programs or live shows from the past decade or two is the time frame I'd like to research on including popular programs people what these days. I'm sure describing the whole complicated psychology and the different trends in comedy would be too much of a reply so a brief summary and any internet sources will be greatly appreciated.
