Since I hold personal belief that I'm sure no one shares to an exact, I had always dated outside my 'religion'. Though I don't affiliate with any particular religion itself.

Yes, I have do it and married someone also. Its very hard because the values you have aren't what the other person is. I know from experience if you are very much religious and care about your religion and your friend isn't well they will not change even with marriage. so therefore its not too good unless you can leave yours by the way side and move on. its very hard and when you have kdis that is another situation. i would try and stick with someone on your own religion life is hard enough and it does make big differnce.

Well, I have thought about it, and I have come up with a solution. There are other nice guys outside my religion, but in my opinion it would be best if I dated and married someone who had the same belief as me, because we could support each other and build each other up in God. We could get closer to God together. I think that would be really nice.

But what if I liked a guy who was outside my religion? Then I would introduce him to my God, what I believe, and bring him to church (because I am a Christian). If he is stuborn and does not except God, then no, I would not date him. If he cannot except the God who created me, then how can he except me.

Ok, so some people married people outside their religion, and everything turned out fine. But I have already expirienced my God's love, I have felt His presence, and I don't feel that it would do for me to date someone outside my religion. Besides, I believe that God has already prepared someone special for me, and until that certain someone shows up, I'll sitck to my studies and work.

But once again, It is up to you. I hope you can find the answer to your situation. God bless you!

Yes. I can and I have. And married, too. But none of them were "devout" or practicing members of their faith, so it wasn't an issue.
It all depends on the religion and degree of devotion, so you're right. It can be a tricky situation.

I would be very open to it as long as my intended keep her religion to herself and didn't criticize my opinions about it.

I'm starting to reconsider it. The pickings are scarce.
