When I heard on Friday morning that the 13 year old was kidnapped the day before I was hysterical crying. But I was so happy when I heard that not only was he found but another boy that had been missing was found and reunited with his family. My feelings are that this boy that was just kidnapped on thursday was given a great role in life, one of his purposes in life was to help locate the older boy. I just felt the need to state this, give my support to the familes that have been ruinted andhope to God that this man is put away for a VERY long itme (forever would be good).

Does hearing news like this make you more fearful for your childrens safety? They say to send our children in pairs, but this boy was snatched right in front of all his friends!

Try responding to the question rather then insulting my choice of words. Talk about ignorance.

Eva, I don't quite understand what you mean. Who's passed judgment and on whom?

The semantics about God are irrelevant (sp??) when it comes to stories like these. And it's a shame that some people don't understand a coloquial and have to take each word literally, and feel an over whelming desire to bash everyone's thoughts that don't coinside with theirs.

I cried so hard when I heard the story and again when I heard the boy was found, and then again when I heard that another boy was found as well. God does not control these things, this man controlled his own actions. Seems that some people who claim to not believe in God, blame God for so many terrible things.

Thank you all for your answer.

Ignore stupid people. Yes I understand what you are saying, and yes it was fated that this boy would play a role. Everything in life is planned. God said even the hairs on our head are numbered. And although it's not GOD who makes bad things happen, He does see all things and knows how they will turn out so yes, every life has a role. By forfeiting your life in committing suicide you will have altered God's plan, and that is why it's a sin to do so, and who knows, maybe people are missing in this world because of it, who WOULD have been the ones to make a difference but people give up rather than take the bull by the horn.

People who are critical are in the dark about a lot of things, and don't you mind them.

It's wonderful that there are people like you who are compassionate enough to care about someone's child as if they were their own. This is what God wants for his people and prayers have in deed been answered.

Just think how many children never make it home again ever. It's a blessing indeed.

You cannot be a parent and not be afraid for your children. You can't become paranoid but at the same time you must always be prudent and never send your children off on their own. You shouldn't feel that because they are with other children that they will be safe. That's not the case. You should always know where they are and they should be well prepared with dealing with strangers from a very young age and to be wary of people and vehicles that seem to be lingering around them whether it's a home or in the playground or anywhere. Train your children where to injure to incapacitate and to escape by whatever means possible and however they can, even murder. In self defence, murder is not a sin.

Its sad, but our children are never safe. We don't know our communities any more, who is in them, where they are from. We have all taken the attitude of its not my business. I like you, was quite disturbed when I heard the news of the abduction, and I do agree, He had a purpose here, and that was to bring the other boy back to his family. So the boy who remembered the truck color and detail, had a greater purpose. I guess thats something that we need to be teaching our children as well. When you see something that isn't normal, or they just aren't comfortable with, to take in as much info as they can, just in case. I feel bad for the boys, and their families, what they had to go thru.

I just wanted to add - I feel that people who have no beliefs in a higher power, are the people who tend to be the abductors, pedofiles, kidnappers etc. Go ahead answer number 1 - throw the catholic preists up - they only put themselves in that position not to spread the word of God, but because they had alter boys at their disposal - those preists, were not men of God. If you can't answer the question at hand - go to the next one that you can answer, and stop being so insulting.

even with the actual incontrovertible truth that its an ignorant question, given the situations, and no offense. we are able to no longer leap into conclusions, to make it look that the boy grow to be a "chuffed camper", to be able to assert. with any success, you're not any further implying that this teen loved it, there are a variety of of aspects which could come under consideration, yet, that's untimely to finish on any. Like no longer understanding the position he's, and being informed issues obtainable could kill you...and so on

I am always concerned for my children. Yes, news like this, makes me stop and think. I praise God these boys are alive and back home. I will not say they are well, for this has added more pain than we can imagine. They need our prayers.

Kidnapping is so wrong. I feel we all pass judgement much to quickly before knowing all the facts.

This dude or anybody else that would take a child needs to be put away for life. there are not enough child advocates to stand up for kids, we need laws that are more strict, one strike and your out deal. to many times you see repeat offenders.lock him up forever.

Do what you can to protect your children, as all good parents do, but don't get overly concerned or paranoid. That's not good for any of you.
