I remember seeing tons of news videos of African-Americans around this country jumping with joy that he got out free, but why would people be happy that he got away with murder?

They would be happy that he was declared innocent because for years blacks had been getting the shaft in this country in regards to justice. This was a form of "payback". I don't think they were happy that he got away with murder - more that an icon of black culture that was considered a hero was declared not guilty.

Personally, I believe he is guilty as sin due to the overwhelming evidence against him.

Yes, he is guilty. Some groups think justice means sticking together and not being held responsible for behavior. Is there prejudice in this world. Yes! Did it have anything to do with OJ being charged with a crime. No. The civil trial proved that. The people celebrating were not happy about someone getting away with murder, but somehow felt it as repayment for prior injustices that have been done.

Well, ever since I saw him running from the cops in that white Bronco, that sealed the deal for me.

I am sure that he was and is guilty.
I cannot prove anything but you should have seen the smirk on his face.
That betrayed him more than anything else.
However, as it was so much a BLACK vs WHITE thing,
JUSTICE was completely forgotten in the hype!!!

You are welcome
