i was just watching this show and they were discussing thie topic of music censorship. im already excluding the narrow minded ignorance that this is just rap. i listen to various kinds of music so i can already tell you its not just rap! but on the show they were just acknowledging the fact that rap is an artistic expression of the "black mans" experience in the ghettos of america. (all minorities not just black) do we censor the music (hard rock, gangster rap, etc) that we fear will influence younger generations (im 16)even though it violates the constitutions right of freedom of speech? is the media and environment responsible for influence on children or is it the parents job to monitor what they listen to/watch? there is so much more that falls into this -the fact that the people allow corportations to sign these violent artists on record deals (in the end the people do have a say to what they respond to)-or do they have a right to profit regardless? what do u think?!

If you were Saddam Hussein right now, and u could choose either to stay in prison for the rest of your life, or be killed, what would you choose?

I'd probably choose life in jail, cause at least, you can DO something about the rest of your life. U know what they say... "Every day above ground is a good day!"

I'm sure some of you have seen this idiots "Thtrollinforjesus", questions which are all regarding his view of single or divorced mothers as sinning, loser, hoes, with baggag who should be lock up like murders, and ousted from the church!

I'm not a single mother but I feel his comments and questions are very offensive and judgemental to women in this situation in the manner that he is doing. He sounds like a straight up female hater with a chip on his shoulders. I mean who in the hell is he to lablel and pass judgment on these women. Never once does he question the man's responsiblity in the situation and how they abandon these women once they get pregnant.

To make a long storie short, click on the link below and read my relpy to his last question and check out some of his questions and idiotic ideology of single mothers and then tell me what you think?

I'm 17, and my parents are having family over for the New Year. My cousins are probably going to stay in my room, so me and my sister are going to stay in a nearby hotel. My parents are in quite poor health at the moment and can't book it up, so will I be able to book a hotel room for myself for me and my sister (16)??

Also, will I be able to pay in cash (as opposed to credit card/cheque)?

Throughout the Christmas holiday I saw my young cousins (13 and under) playing with dolls, cars, trucks, clothes... all imagining that they were mommies and daddies, or truck drivers, or all kinds of things.

Meanwhile, the adults sat around and spoke about health concerns, insurance, the problems of the world, and how life just "isn't what it used to be."

So, I'm curious... as adults, have we lost the ability to imagine? John Lennon wrote a song about how the world could be so much better if we "imagine" things. Most everything is possible anymore... and the world is still involved in wars, poverty is still rampant, and diseases such as cancer and AIDS are still touching millions of people.

My question is... can you (as an adult) still imagine? It can be on any level... pretending you're a motorcycle driver with your son in the sidecar, or seeing the end of war and widespread peace and understanding across the globe.

Please, appropriate answers only. I'd like to hear.

Everybody just wants to give or receive presents for Christmas.
But Christmas is about helping those in most need. Instead of the Commercial industry that it is now. So if anyone feels the same as me, when the banks open, or go on-line and donate whatever you can to a charity to help those who's only wish is to survive the day or to rebuild their lives.

I recently have noticed many people in their late teens(18-19) and early 20's feel it is absolutely necessary to live with their bf/gf just because they think it's the thing to do in to pop-culture. They also feel they need to spend the night, or many nights with them because of pop-culture as well. It seems alot of this ideology is pushed upon them current TV shows like Howard Stern, Road Rules, The O.C., and basically anything that's on MTV or VH1.

Do you, or did you feel your values were impressed upon you by TV shows or by your parents? If you answered by TV shows, how did you feel when you found out that's not the right way to go, and lastly, what will you do when YOUR kids follow this same ideology or whatever is prominant at the time they're in this age group?

Why, if you tell someone that you live in america do they assume that you are refering to the United States? Are there not many other countrys on both north and south america? Besides, I didn't even use the word America. Some people are so narrow minded.

A few weeks ago a memo came round the office informing us that due to difficult trading conditions that the company where looking for volentary redundencies and early retirement. After careful consideration, I'm not getting any younger, need a change of pace etc. I, with a heavy heart, put myself forward for early retirement. Now they have thrown it back in my face. They claim you can't retire 35+ years before the state retirement age...they are the ones who wanted volunteers for early retirement. Does anyone think I have a case for age descrimination? Your thoughts please
