When I moved here 13 years ago,I vowed I would try every 'typically English' food I'd ever heard of. Cottage/Shepherd's Pie,Cockles,'proper' fish and chips,steak and kidney pie,etc.... I was doing really well until I went to try jellied eels. I took one look at them and said NO WAY!!!! The look of them just grossed me out!
