It would depend on how they got the points. If they get the points by having a lot of intelligent and/or best answers, then I would have great respect for them. But then there are the point-gamers, and those who set up "bots" to crank out answers(and points). Those I don't respect.

Not really! I mean I'm glad for them but I only check those points out once in a blue moon. I'm doing my thing! I'm not in any hurry to beat anyone at points. I'm strictly on this site to write what I feel about the questions that are posed and to answer them with only the truth about how I feel. So for you high score individuals, congrats and all of that good stuff. But I'm taking my time! I'm in no hurry to be at the top of board. I'm having fun! Tootles!

i give respect to people that answer the question ,not those who answer a question with a question or an insult .just because one has more points only means that they have got a lot more 2 points than every one else

No, but I do respect some of the people with a very high percentage of best answers.
I just saw a "17" year old girl with 46% best answers. I checked out her best answers and she was really, really smart!! She gave answers to questions I have no clue about!! Man, this new generation scares me!! They are all SOOO smart!

No. because some of these people on here are just writing something, no matter how stupid, to get a couple of points. They are not really answering questions, they will write something that has nothing to do with the questions or themselves. Well their nerds because Yahoo! answers has made it clear that points mean absolutely nothing, you dont get to redeam anything. They just need to get a life and a job to keep them busy.

@Mazza-h, yes you should be scared of us.................

For having a high number of points, yes. For anything else, no, because I do not know them--to respect them.

No cause some of them are morons who just write a quick word or two to score a point. This point system is silly it doesn't accurately reflect how helpful they truly are.

That depends on how many best answers they had. compare total points vs best answers. PLUS who the heck gives a dam how many points some one else has as long as someone answers my Q.
