I know this question might offend some but I don't care. I think people 'claim' to be crippled just because they are too lazy to walk an extra minute. I work until midnight and all the parking stops are taken in the apartment complex when I get home except for this one handicapped spot. It is open every single night. The area I live in is not the safest and I do not appreciate having to park all the way by the dumpsters and walking in to my buliding at 1 a.m. Plus, because of my work schedule I usually do my grocery shopping at night and it's a far walk when you're carrying groceries. It's not fair that this lady gets a good spot and I don't believe she is handicapped. She is gone everynight and comes home around 9 am. When people are gone those hours it usually means 1 of 2 things: She's either screwing someone or works midnights. She can't be too handicapped! When you walk in our bulidings there are 2 options: upstairs or down. If she was so handicapped, wouldn't she pick a elevator

Hello All,

I am a communication studies major and am doing a presentation on the topic of co-habitation prior to being married.

I want to give an unbiased presentation and just give the pro's and con's of the issue... but am having a very hard time finding and sites or organizations supporting co-habitation before marriage.

Does anyone know of any sites or research that do support it?? What are your thoughts and what not?

Thanks for your help!

Why can't we just have decent answers. Do people have to be so rude to those they don't even know? If they dont like a question then why not avoid answering it?

First of all, an African American is a person who comes over from Africa and then becomes a citizen here in the states. Why don't you White people call yourselves European American? Why do you all want to be referred to as Caucasian?

It seems that nobody knows how to stay commited to a realtionship anymore.
Divorce is higher than ever. "Married people are now in the minority in the US." (Associated Press)

Several people on here ask "Is it wrong to be in love with someone else when i'm married?"....

What's the point anymore? Why get married? It's simpler to just break up than divorce.

Someone, PLEASE enlighten me here...

we are by chance to live in a comfortable environment and born into a somewhat high status (or at least not that low because we are all using internet) but then why would we pick on the poor and the retarded or the colored or the immigrants? if we are all by chance to live the life that we are living in right now then couldn't we also by chance be in the shoes of the poor and the ones we look down on or even discriminate?
who are we to initiate prejudice against the unfortunate when we are just given a lucky draw by being born into a livable life?
is it ignorance? or is it just that we think we deserve what we have ascribed by birth?

Personally I see nothing wrong with it, but knowing there are some people in our society that think it's wrong that people of different races are married like blacks with whites as an example.

Just curious to see what you all think about this.

I am doing a speech on the support of funding for humanitarian efforts. I would like anyone to bring their imput on why they believe we should fund this or should not. I need both angles because I will need infomation on why people believe we do not need it so that I can find information to refute that. I have been on the World Health Organization and UNICEF websites, and have found tremendous info. Thanks in advance.

Honestly, I've just did some thinking...I looked at some crime statistics the other day and they said they wanted crime rates to go down, etc.

I noticed that rape rates has increased by 19% from previous year or something like that.

Then, if you think, wow, as time goes by, women's clothing and appearances don't get any less revealing. I've seen skirt's at the movie theatres that are just barely covering the privates, women are just telling men "Hey, rape me!". Saying this may be a little vulgar, but it's what I honestly think.

Perhaps the women are this revealing may be because that they are what you may call a "show-off" and want to attract men. Yet, in the end, they attract the wrong kind of guys, and every other guy just walks by with a ***** and society is okay. woot. +19% rape crimes.

Perhaps the next time you wear that 6 inch skirt, think about what your really doing. What are your thoughts?
