The only benefit of any war is it's good for the economy. War creates jobs. Of course the tragic downside of war, is, war causes deaths. And if there's ever a world wide nuclear war, then no one wins, because there won't be anybody left. And should there be a few thousand people who do survive a nuclear war, how will they eat food and drink water when everything will be radioactive?

Big benefit for GW Bush and his buds. Nothing for most Americans, well nothing except dead and injured soldiers. Yeh, I'm American and can't stand our current regime. People like me make up about 48% of the population, btw. Unfortunately, the guy posting before me makes up that oh so narrow and shrinking majority.

Most Muslims are peace-loving people, but there are still Muslims who are very serious about destroying everything our country has held dear for decades. There is a large faction of Muslims whose sole purpose for existence is to wipe out America and destroy all who don't call on the name of Allah. We have let them chase us out of other countries. There is a HUGE battle here, for our lives and freedoms and if we don't fight it on some front it will come to our front. So yes, our troops are performing a critical and nobel service and I sincerely hope you are enjoying every day you can go buy your Starbucks (or whatever you like) in safety.
