Women, why so slutty yet saying men are perverted?

Honestly, I've just did some thinking...I looked at some crime statistics the other day and they said they wanted crime rates to go down, etc.

I noticed that rape rates has increased by 19% from previous year or something like that.

Then, if you think, wow, as time goes by, women's clothing and appearances don't get any less revealing. I've seen skirt's at the movie theatres that are just barely covering the privates, women are just telling men "Hey, rape me!". Saying this may be a little vulgar, but it's what I honestly think.

Perhaps the women are this revealing may be because that they are what you may call a "show-off" and want to attract men. Yet, in the end, they attract the wrong kind of guys, and every other guy just walks by with a ***** and society is okay. woot. +19% rape crimes.

Perhaps the next time you wear that 6 inch skirt, think about what your really doing. What are your thoughts?

My apologies, my intentions was meant that the people that are wearing those "6 inch skirts" are ruining it for others.

and No, I know that the woman's intentions aren't for the men to rape them, OF COURSE THATS WRONG!!!

It's just that is what is appearing to occur to me. They do it to make themselves feel better, yet, it makes it worse for the men in today's society mentally and the woman that are the victims

Yes its about time women realized that when they dress cheaply it gives the wrong signals to society... I dont mean to judge anybody but if I see a female dressed in a nice outfit I cant help but think she has a better nature and more self respect than if I see her dressed in a low cut top, ripped jeans with her butt hanging out and heaps of makeup on. It shouldn't say to men :"hey, I'm a slutty person who deserves to be raped!!" but unfortunately its the message some men get.....Music videos have a lot to answer for as well becoz many impressionable, innocent girls take their ques from watching them and they think that's what society expects and that its normal, accepted and cute... they don't understand what emotions it can stir in others... parents need to look at what their kids wear too!!!!!!!!

So how do you explain rapes since time immemorial that has happened and still happens in countries like India where women wear sarees and salwar kameez? I guess they asking for it by showing their arms and ankles because you know that men can't be held responsible for what they do when they see ankles. And what about rapes in which the victim is a male? Is the victim still the instigator? Maybe the sex of the victim is what you base your guilt and innocence in.

PS: If this question is because of a guilty conscience please turn yourself in before you harm someone else. You will get some peace of mind too.

your question is full of the double standard of men vs. women. It's true that women who dress like that are almost asking for it, but those aren't the only people who get raped. Actually it's more of the quiet type that aren't "show-offs" that get raped. Those girls aren't asking for it. SO maybe if there were more decent men in the world even the girls that are "asking for it" wouldn't have to worry either. Don't label the "slutty" girls as the ones calling men perverted, cuz it's more likely that those aren't the ones getting raped, those are the ones having consensual sex instead. Think a little more next time before you start stereotyping.

Honestly, some studies show that most rapists have extremely small units and that is why rape is classified as a violent act not a sex act.

My thoughts are that rape isn't about sex usually, it's about power. If it weren't so late I'd elaborate, but instead I'll just say this; No one of any gender deserves to be raped, or asks for it, regardless of what they're wearing. I know you didn't say that in so many words, but it sounded very close.

It doesnt matter what a woman wears. No man has any right to take advantage of her sexually. If they wear a 6 inch skirt and it makes them feel good about themselves than thats good. They shouldnt have to worry about being raped.

I totally agree with u...10 thumbs up for your question. i am a woman, but still i think women are somewhat responsible for it....ok, now if a man walks around half naked, any girl's eyes will fall on him...they will only have one thought of how sexy he is looking....in this same way, a girl's half naked body attracts man...now there r so many sexoholic men out there waiting for attacking women....now if they see them in such clothing it is obvious that they will first attack those *orny kitties. overall, women r the ones welcoming it.
