Why is it that people always scream about the dangers of Drugs and ignore the fact that Alcohol Abuse is MORE COMMON, JUST AS DANGEROUS, and RUINS MORE LIVES! Is it purely because one is Legal the other not!

I am curious about what my fellow Americans find offensive nowadays, so rank the following items by how much seeing/hearing, etc, would disgust you.

1. Hearing profane music spewing from someones car stereo
2. Seeing flags other than the USA flag being prominantly displayed on peoples cars and houses
3. Seeing two morbidly obese people copulating in public
4. Hearing the president continue to justify the Iraq war.
5. Seeing criminals protest our countrys increased effort to enforce existing laws.
6. Seeing parents verbally or physically abuse their children in public.
7. Seeing people driving personal vehicles that barely (if that) get ten miles to the gallon while we pay between 2 and 3 dollars a gallon now.

Ten points to whomever is the first that matches what I would say...

I wanted to be Flava Flav for Halloween and since he is very proud of his blackness, part of my costume was painting myself black. I didn't think this would be offensive but someone that I used to be friends with emailed me when they saw the picture and said it could be very offensive to black people. Is it really?

Two things happened that made me think it wasn't. 1) I made friends with a black guy at the party that loved my costume and we hung out later. 2) A black woman I know dressed her kid up as a redneck and painted him white.

My question is: do you think painting myself black to represent a black person was offensive? I certainly didn't mean it to be...

i am the super preppy girl at my school! i am a varsity cheerleader and i am only a sophmore! i am popular i guess! and i where abercrombi and hollister everyday! i shop all the time and i never where the same thing twice in one month! i have 3 closets full of clothes and about 60 pares of shoes! i have a silver porshe and a black rolls! am i spoiled? everyone at my school like the goths and emos call the the ritch girl but i am not even rich i mean i might live in hampton in the summer and in sacramento bell air but they do to i guess! i mean why does eveyone think i am such a bit>ch one you get to know me i am actually really nice ! does anyone else have this problem i cant be the only one?

today was a bad day for me. my embarrasing b****y homeroom teacher put me on the spot *again*, this guy threatened to tell on me and my friend for calling him something that mean to be A JOKE not an offense (tattling to the b****y homeroom teacher, of course), i got frostbite on my legs... my mom got mad at me.. i did not get to laugh with my bff tonignt b/c we were both morouning at our bad days.

The ritual of slaughtering halal meat/chicken is that the animal has to be fed before slaughter cut from the throat with a very sharp knife, hanged upside down to make sure all the blood is drained out and blessed in the name of God. What would you recomend i do to get a house condemned. There are mice, rats, sick cats, mold, roof falling apart, feces, a abused blind dog tied up outstide. I am having a hard time finding the necesary resources. Please only serious answers. also, sad but, i have tried to contact animal control, only to call back a week later to find out they havent checked on the animals, and for them to tell me they have more important things to do. There is also a kid living at this house, maybe 9 or 10 years old, poor thing, alllll his front teeth have silver caps already, you can tell he's unhappy. This place is a $h!t hole! What do i do, are they only going to belive one person.... let me know if you would like to help in calling the necesary authorities, every voice helps.

Again, this is a BAD place.
